호텔 드 라 마린(Le Grand Hotel de la Marine)

This is a well located comfortable hotel for anyone visiting D-Day sites. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. The food is excellent (the fish market is just across the road) - we enjoyed breakfast, lunch and dinner on a number of days. The overall quality of service was excellent. A recent refurbishment has modernised the hotel bedrooms however it does not have a lift so access to the bedrooms is by stairs. The bedrooms are clean and comfortable however not all have a sea view. The free wifi is also very good.

This review is actually for the restuarant inside this hotel. We stopped there as part of an Oceania excursion of the Normandy Invsion beaches. There were 3 Oceania groups of about 38 people each, yet the small restuarant was able to handle all the groups on two floots. Our meal was fantastic as was the red wine and chardony they served along with great bread. Everone's meal consisted of some type of meat loaf which tasted like liver and salad, turkey and potatoes in white sauce, and then a gret apple pie with ice cream. It was fantastic.

Bel emplacement, pas loin des plages du débarquement. Nous sommes venus uniquement pour déjeuner et avons décidé de passer une nuit . Au pied du port, on a pu voir le départ des bateaux pêcheurs le soir, le marché tout le long du bord de l’eau, les différentes marées etc… Je ne sais pas comment était cet hôtel avant le changement de propriétaire. En tout cas, concernant la propreté, il n’y a rien à dire. Tout est neuf. Nous avons pris deux chambres au deuxième et au troisième étage. Néanmoins, quelques points sont à revoir concernant les chambres et le petit déjeuner (transmis aux employés) d’où les quatre étoiles. Un éventuel ascenseur serait intéressant car faire trois étages n’est pas facile pour tout le monde. Une équipe très à l’écoute et agréable. Les plats étaient bons et bien présentés. Les produits sont frais. Hâte d’y retourner.

Venu en groupes pour un repas , service efficace après comme tous les groupes on a toujours l'impression du va vite ; les entrées déjà sur la table , toujours un sketch pour ceux qui ne boivent pas d'alcool .Repas assez simple

Excellent accueil, personnels irréprochables pourtant jeunes mais très pros. Cuisine et plats de qualité, très bonne ambiance, établissement propre et bien tenu comme on aimerait en voir plus souvent. Pas d’hésitation, allez y en toute confiance.
