Manyat Peak Cottages Carnaby

All was as advertised / expected. Super clean and very, very comfortable. The helpful hosts supplied a pleasing set of day 1 food goodies with the eggs being farm fresh, a great home made loaf of bread, very pleasing marmalade and strawberry jam, etc. A full oven is supplied in the very well set up kitchen. A super comfortable bed too. A pot belly stove all stoked ready for lighting was there; but we were warm enough in Sept without it being needed. Lots of gas fired hot water on tap; and a washing machine. The venue is a good (super quiet) base for exploring the immediate NP area and also driving up for the day into the Stirling Range NP. Plan to be here over a weekend and then book ahead to eat dinner at the local Thai Restaurant; which has excellent food.

Found this place ideal for our needs. Stayed in the Carnaby cottage which had every convenience needed for our stay. Beautiful welcome basket of bread,eggs and jams that was delicious and a nice touch. The 2 cottages are reasonably far apart so it's nice and private. Bed was comfortable and had a good night's sleep. Very convenient to Mt Barker and Castle Rock.Would love to stay again when we return to the Porongorups
