I wonderful hotel full of interesting decor and furniture. Elixir, the owner, could not have been more helpful. Ideal location for sightseeing. Breakfast excellent, rooms, bed, en-suite fantastic. Many thanks for Elodie’s hospitality every day.

Elodie has done a wonderful job and works hard to maintain this high standard. She could not have been more helpful. The hotel is excellent throughout and we would all stay there again. The breakfast provided an impressive and delicious choice.

This hotel is in an excellent location and is perfect for exploration the area in town and the surrounding areas. The proprietor Eloodie was very attentive and did a great job. The personal service and breakfast was exceptional. Rooms were delightful and the front lobby is perfect for relaxing at the end of the day. All our needs and requests were met. Cannot recommend this property enough.

Quite the most remarkable Boutique hotel run by an equally remarkable and capable owner. The rooms are superbly appointed, the interior of the hotel "other worldly" once you have left the street. The breakfasts are incredible!! A wonderful way to start your day. Freshly cooked, plenty of choice and beautifully presented. Elodie even picked up on the fact that one of the days was our wedding anniversary providing champagne and roses! What more can you ask? This hotel and its owner deserve all the success and highly recommend it to you. Perfectly situated for the battlefields, if that is your interest and within easy walk of the centre of Ypres. For those who have not been to Ypres, it is a wonderful place to spend a few days.

What an absolutely beautiful and comfortable hotel! Elodie is probably one of the most accommodating hosts that I have ever met. Genuinely couldn’t do enough to make sure our stay was thoroughly enjoyable. The decor is unique and tastefully done. Breakfast was lovely. We stayed in the rooms overlooking the courtyard but I believe all of the rooms are equally lovely. Can’t wait to go back again,

This is the best small hotel in Belgium. Great location in Ypres, Excellent rooms for a great price and a host who is so accommodating. Elodie is awesome, so friendly, best breakfast I have ever had anywhere in the world, and everything is just no Problem! We stayed in Ypres as a base to visit the WW1 battlefields - best place to stay without a question.

Elodie is the most wonderful host in a beautiful hotel. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. We enjoyed the whole experience from the delicious breakfast to the fully stocked mini-bar and the nightly honesty bar. We were fortunate to be able to watch Rugby World Cup matches in the lounge in the evening. Nothing was too much trouble. The only place I would stay in that part of Europe.

After a long days driving it was a wonderful experience to arrive at the Main Street Boutique hotel, welcomed by the delightful owner into her 'home'. because that is what it felt like. . Our room was very comfortable, an excellent shower and towels, the decor was very calm and relaxing. The breakfast was amazing. Everything that you could possible want was available. including foie gras and truffles, the scrambled eggs, bacon and mushrooms were excellently cooked . A definite find.

This was simply a magical experience. From the moment my wife pressed the bell,Elodie the charming owner was kind and helpful,carried our heavy bag upstairs,gave us some delicious tea,lent us a charger,gave us great advice on where to go in Ypres and could not have done more. The superb bathroom gave us nice hot showers,we slept really well in comfy beds and then breakfast! What a feast with delicious yoghourt,superb scrambled eggs with truffles,hot toast,fresh local cheese ,meats and jam and coffee. On a 10 day cross Europe road trip, best place we stayed- and car parked opposite free!
