라 이슬라 리조트(La Isla Resort)

Lovely location just right in front of the beach. Staff were helpful, amazing and patient even though they hardly knew English. It is bit away from the town, so will need a car hire or cab/tours to reach your destinations. Bus frequency is god as well. Swimming pool closes as 6, but private beach time till 8pm. The resort staff splly - Manuela,Mattiu, Annalisa &Angela - u guys were too helpful and amazing. Best wishes. We friends had a great time in your resort and Salerno, exploring Amalfi coast, Paestum and Pompeii..

Me (25) and my partner (23) booked a weekend away for bank holiday weekend to Italy last minute. The holiday itself was lovely! We managed to get loads done as we knew it was a weekend spent exploring/doing touristy things. The weather was beautiful for the weekend, we were lucky. However we were disappointed in the hotel. It brought a downer on the holiday. We read the reviews and everyone said how lovely the hotel was so we assumed that the hotel would be perfect! We were looking forward to being able to relax a little while we were there, however we weren’t aware that the pool and private beach would be shut. We paid for bed and breakfast but the breakfast was disappointing. Only a few little bits, not filling at all! The service was poor as their English wasn’t very good. We struggled to communicate with the staff. The beds were hard and uncomfortable and the pillows were flat as pancakes. Me and my partner didn’t get a good night sleep on all 3 nights we were there. The air con didn’t work which meant we had to have the window open which meant flies and mosquitoes were coming in and disturbing us in the night. Because we struggled to communicate with staff they weren’t able to help us with the air con. On the plus side, the bedrooms were clean and every morning they tidied the room and changed the sheets. We thought maybe we booked the holiday out of season but you’d think that it’s just been the Easter holidays and with the summer holidays approaching the pool and private beach wouldn’t be shut and they’ve have more going on? Also we paid lots of money to get taxis to the train station and to other destinations. Turns out we could have got a bus which would have been much cheaper. If the staff could understand us then maybe they could have let us know? I’m giving this hotel a 2 star - disappointed.

We've just returned from a week's stay at la isla bonita resort. Cannot praise this hotel enough. The staff were incredibly friendly and so accommodating. The hotel is situated right opposite its own beach resort - beautiful! We were half board and enjoyed delicious and generously sized food every night. Lots of new seafood dishes to try and bespoke menu for our 9 year old son, who pretty much got whatever he asked for on the night! You do have to cross a road to access the beach resort, but we never had to wait long for safe crossing. Long evenings drinking wine on the beach - perfect! The hotel is a little isolated, but the staff arranged for car hire for us for the week. We planned our own daily excursions - salerno, capri, vesuvius, pompei and, of course, a day's fun driving along the amalfi coast. All easy to get to from the hotel. On our last day we had full access to the resort, even though we checked out at 11am. This was invaluable as we didn't fly home until late in the evening. You can get a massive pizza from the bar for around 5 euros - bargain! Full wifi across hotel and resort, free parking and also separate swimming pool area, which my husband and son raved about. Lifeguards always incredibly attentive - set up your parasol, deckchair etc and make sure you have everything you need. All pool users need to wear a swimming cap - can be bought for 2 euros from behind the pool bar. Rooms perhaps basic but exactly what you need. Spacious enough, but no in-room tea / coffee facilities. To be honest we were only in there yo shower and sleep - so much to see and do - so it worked well for us. Will definitely be going back and 100% recommend. Thank you La Isla Resort for looking after us so well!

Per ben due sere di fila abbiamo usufruito del ristorante, visto che siamo in campeggio a 200 Metri, ottima sorpresa, cibo molto buono e personale gentile e cortese, abbiamo usufruito del ristorante pur essendo ospiti esterni. Da Consigliare.

O hotel precisa de muitas melhorias. O sistema tubular de refrigeração/aquecimento cheira odor insuportável. Quarto pequeno, cofre problemático, não abria, café da manhã, em meu primeiro dia, não tinha frios. Nos foi dito que havia acabado. Enfim, nesse estado, precisa de muitas melhorias. Pessoal do atendimento, por outro lado, nota 10. Todos muito atenciosos e eficientes.

Ci siamo stati due volte, di passaggio, diretti più a nord. Situato di fronte al mare, deve essere affollato d'estate ma fuori stagione è un albergo tranquillo e pulito. Il personale è molto cortese e disponibile Abbiamo anche cenato discretamente. Ci torneremo sicuramente.

Tutto perfetto staff cordiale gentile ma animazione troppo pesante con musica dalla mattina alla sera...te ne vedi con il mal di testa.... Almeno abbassassero il volume ...e poi ci sono orari in cui non dovrebbero contare e fare casino....molti ci lamentiamo di sta cosa....se becchi area centrale sei fregato ti devi portare i tappi Lle orecchie....solo questa è la nota dolente...cercate di trovare un compromesso...e abbassate sto volume...a nulla è valso farlo presente in direzione..

Vergognoso al dir poco, sono appena arrivata asciugamani sporche camere che di 4 stelle hanno zero dovrebbe star scritto 4 stalle, vecchie ,datate e al dir poco mal curate, una struttura vecchia dotata di zero comfort. Non ci metterò più piede

personale molto gentile ma le camere dovrebbero essere rimodernate assolutamente c è una strada da attraversare molto pericolosa perche non ci sono dissuasori o limite di velocità e purtroppo è l unico modo x arrivare in piscina o in spiaggia spiaggia e piscina molto curata ristorante buono
