Overall we had a wonderful stay. PROS: beautiful room, incredible breakfast buffet, good wifi, in-wall usb chargers, onsite parking and atm, excellent gym, convenient snack bar, no loud noise etc. CONS: dinner menu was mediocre, room service usually didn't replenish all amenities, location felt slightly rough (until about 400m east), restaurant was sometimes cold (in winter). But like I said - we were quite happy with our stay.

The hotel's decoration was a true highlight for me. The attention to detail and the theme throughout the property added a distinct charm and character. Every corner seemed to have a story to tell, and I found myself discovering new delightful elements with each passing day. The combination of modern aesthetics with a touch of local culture perfectly reflected the spirit of the Azores. My room at Senhora da Rosa Hotel was spacious and comfortable, providing a relaxing sanctuary after a day of exploring. The thoughtful design elements and tasteful furnishings created a welcoming atmosphere, ensuring a restful night's sleep. I particularly appreciated the attention to detail in maintaining the theme throughout the room, which added an extra layer of charm and authenticity. The staff at the hotel was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. From the moment I arrived, they went above and beyond to ensure that my needs were met and that I felt at home. The breakfast at Senhora da Rosa Hotel was a delightful experience in itself. The multiple options and the freshness of the offerings were truly impressive. We loved almost everything about this hotel. Excellent view of the ocean, and a good central spot to do day trips with our rental car. Room was a great size and very comfortable with a soaker tub. But, the bathroom is enclosed in glass so if acoustical privacy is important to you, this is a downside. There is a curtain that comes down for visual privacy. Good idea to book spa services early - they are popular! Pool, gym, sauna, etc were wonderful. Menu in the restaurant was extremely limited at dinner. However the quality was great. Food service staff were very slow to clear dishes and refresh drinks in the lounge area. Friendly and attentive at first… they had a habit of ignoring tables as time passed. So, a 4/5.

We booked a 6 night stay in the Azores through Travel Zoo and picked Hotel Delgado. We couldn't have been happier. The rooms were nice. We had a renovated room on the fifth floor. There was a small deck overlooking the street. Perfect location. It was a short walk to the port and there were several restaurants in walking distance. The breakfast in the morning was good. There is a small bar on the ground floor. We stopped there every night either on the way out or when we got back. Carlos is the bartender and he was fantastic. He was working his tail off taking care of everybody and was always pleasant. Plus he is very knowledgeable about the island. He left a great impression of Azorean hospitality on us. We'll definitely stay there again next time.

좋은 서비스, 친절한 직원, 아침 식사는 괜찮습니다. 호텔은 부두 옆에 있으며 대서양을 마주보고 있으며 위치가 우수하며 도심에서 식사하기 편리합니다. 단점은 주차 요금이며 1 박당 12 유로입니다. 호텔에는 웨이터 주차가 있으며 태도가 좋습니다.

This apart-hotel complex is absolutely beautiful, flowering bushes everywhere with a lovely scent. Our apartment was large and airy and had a great private terrace on the first floor (2nd floor if you’re North American). It really was a home from home with a full dining area with table and chairs and lounge area with sofa, soft rug and tv. The main double bedroom was upstairs with an anteroom having a sofa/pull out bed for children or guests 3&4. Lots of storage in the bedroom but there was a distinct lack of hangers in the wardrobe but loads of drawer space. The kitchen is adequate enough for simple meals (no oven) with a twin hob and microwave, kettle and toaster, and a selection of pots and pans. We managed really well. The hotel provides breakfast 8am - 10am if you want it at 12euros per person. We didn’t try this option. Housekeeping are amazing and come every day! Everything is clean and beds are made. Towels can be changed daily if you like. For a self-catering holiday we found that a lot was provided in the apartment for us: washing up liquid, washing up sponge, washing up cloth and a tea towel. These are replenished and changed as needed. There is also toilet roll, shower gel and hand wash provided in the bathroom which was lovely - again, replenished when needed or on request. The complex gardens are beautiful and well-tended. The pool looked lovely and well-cared for, however we didn’t try it out. There seems to be a hot tub in a wooden building off the pool area - we took a look but it was grubby and the water had floating debris. I’m sure they would have sorted it out if we had asked, but we were out and about discovering the island every day. You definitely need to hire a car for the duration of your stay here as there isn’t any bus route nearby and taxis would be very expensive to get around the island. HANDY TIP: If you’re picking up your hire car on landing at the airport and driving to Quinta da Santana - to get into the complex there is an electronic gate that requires a remote control. When you first arrive, drive past the big metal gate and find the next smaller (pedestrian) gate. Put the hazard lights on in the car and get out to ring the bell. This alerts reception who will come and open the gate for you or just give you a remote straight away so you can drive into the complex. We had a horrendous time of looking and looking and going around and around the roads trying to find the entrance!! We didn’t know about the need to ring the pedestrian gate bell (face palm!) The reception staff are lovely and very accommodating and speak English very well. I’m not sure what other languages they can speak. The area that Quinta da Santana is situated in is the one fly in the ointment….it seems really run down and the road they are situated on is all full of industrial buildings and commercial businesses. Further exploration within Santana uncovers the grubbier side of agricultural life with its local working class community.
