Exceptional experience at The Plettenberg celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary. Drank champagne overlooking the ocean with a full moon overhead. Excellent breakfasts and dinner and absolutely beautiful rooms. Thanks to Aldo for arranging a room with a bath and also special thanks to Diana and Thandeka. We were sad to leave! Could have done 3 more days

We loved our stay in The Plettenburg. The rooms were clean and the location was ideal for us to get to get to the local area and only a short drive to other activities we had planned such as sky diving and canyoning. We would highly recommend. Thank you.

The Plettenberg is a really beautiful hotel overlooking the ocean. We were helped with our cases into the lobby which was very bright and welcoming. We were given a delicious tea and a refreshing towel which was a lovely touch. We were taken to our suite which was perfectly located on the top floor in the adjacent building. We had a gorgeous view of the ocean. The room was very spacious, with decor that was tasteful and felt homely. The lounge area being perfect to enjoy the complementary mini bar with a view. The bed was super comfortable, and the bathroom was very clean and spacious. We ate in the hotel restaurant one night which was great. The staff were friendly and attentive, and we enjoyed our meal. There are security outside the hotel which gives reassurance when walking across the road to the other building where our room was. Breakfast was fantastic, with a beautiful outdoor patio overlooking the ocean. There is a continental buffet, with hot food ordered from the a la carte. The manager of the hotel spoke to us one morning, introduced herself and we talked about our trip. She was very friendly and we really appreciated her taking time to speak to the guests. The pool area at the adjacent building is perfect, not overcrowded and has a panoramic view. There is an indoor lounge area which is ideal to escape the sun - we also had lunch in here which was great. There is a lovely walk along the beach - accessed from directly outside the hotel and taking the path on the left. We would highly recommend The Plettenberg.

Stunning hotel in a beautiful location overlooking the beach. Just a short walk to Main Street where the shops & restaurants are located. Our room was large and spacious and the whole hotel was beautifully decorated and furnished. The dining area for dinner and breakfasts is a lovely area with outside seating overlooking the ocean. We loved the view for morning breakfast! The staff are superb, very attentive and super helpful with any questions you may have about the area and recommendations of places to visit. All round, a high quality hotel in a perfect location!

We were very impressed by the hotel and services provided. They went above and beyond to cater for our daughter who is under 2 with microwave sterilizing equipment, cot, bedding, mini robe, baby bathtub etc. The complimentary drinks were very welcome and overall the staff were friendly and very professional. Staying at the Plettenberg Hotel was definitely a highlight of out trip to South Africa.

Do you want to feel at peace whilst having the best time of your life? Then this is the place for you. I had the greatest experience ever, place is beautiful people are friendly. And they have the fluffiest pillows ever lol 😂 😂. Would definitely return.

One of the best trips I ever took. Pletternberg has thee most amazing views. Nice food, scenery and the service was also good. Would definitely recommend the place, absolutely beautiful. We were celebrating my friend's birthday and we loved every second of it

There is nothing that could have improved our stay at The Plettenberg. The beauty of its surroundings as well as the hotel itself is only exceeded by the warmth and welcome of the staff. We’ve traveled a fair amount and have never felt so pampered. What an incredible stay we had.

Wonderful get-away for a few days at a beautiful spot along the Garden Route. Staff and accommodations were welcoming and gracious. We will be returning often to enjoy the Plettenberg Hotel. Don’t miss the mini fish cakes in the restaurant.
