Things to be aware of: Kids CAN NOT USE air beds or floats in any pools. Mad considering 3 pools & 2 pools empty most day. There is NO ice cream available unless you go to main restaurant. NOT child friendly unlike other RIU we been to around the world

Lovely hotel,Food was fantastic always something for every taste, rooms cleaned everyday,free water everyday,tea and coffee with kettle in our room,safe was included the room we stayed in was very quiet 254,always sun beds at pools was given a card to change pool towels everyday Pepes snacks at poolside,drinks available all day and night,will definitely be back loved our stay.

It is 4am and I am currently staying at this hotel. Just woke up to the realisation that I am in a big fancy room with basically the clothes I was wearing my nightclothes and my phone. Told if I leave the room then I ain’t getting back in. This review is nothing against the hard working staff of this hotel and the amount of people that TUI pack in to it these guys work their socks off hope they are getting paid a decent wage. TUI advertise this as a ‘Platinum’ hotel but don’t let that fool you. What that means is you get cheap everything all inclusive. Check out the definitions of TUI hotels on Google. Anyway after having indulged in the cheap all inclusive and returning to our basic garden view room 411 next to the Vulcano disco we discovered our bathroom was flooded. We contacted reception and obviously at that time of night no maintenance people were available. The guy at reception was very apologetic but basically we were told either put up with it or we can move you to probably the only other available room (it was mobbed with new people) but if you leave that room you won’t get back in! Hence I am sitting in my penthouse apartment prison with no access to any of my belongings. There was no way we could have stayed in our booked room tonight it was an absolute hazard and inhabitable. So will stick it out tonight to see how the hotel deal with this in a few hours. Rui whoever answers your reviews please do put the usual platitudes on Trip Advisor this is beyond that. One very unhappy customer ☹️

We've booked for the 3rd time! Some negative reviews are unjustified. There is a decent variety of food, similar to other H10 and Barcelo Hotels. The heated pools are warm, especially if you go in the unheated pool first. The hotel is big, but it's not that big to complain about. The location is excellent, plenty to do within walking distance. Drinks are decent enough. Drinks and food are freely available without any real queues. We found all staff polite and helpful towards English guests. I can't believe someone complained about the TV channels, who goes on holiday to watch TV? Only suggestion would be to allow inflatables in one of the pools.

5* advertised certainly didn’t feel like it, we stayed for our 1 year wedding anniversary/ honeymoon when booking the room I asked for a note and a nice treat to say happy anniversary/honeymoon upon arrival there was nothing yet I heard a couple next to us bragging they lied it was their anniversary to get a free upgrade and freebies which they didn’t even want so that was abit of a shame. The grounds are clean and cannot fault the cleaners and bar staff as it does get quite busy, we stayed in the main side of the hotel with the two split pools there was no music not really any ambiance. Food we ate breakfast here five Out of the seven days other than that we ate out every evening as it was underwhelming for 5* and the price paid. Hated going to the buffet to eat, drinks were hit and miss the sodas (coke fanta sprite) from the pump either tasted too syrupy or no flavour at all. Wouldn’t reccomend the hotel For anyone under the age of 60 and looking for a beige diet. Overall was clean however drinks food pool area atmosphere very underwhelming and would say 3* qualities at best.

I am staying at this hotel now, booked this holiday for my partners 70th as a surprise, 15 family and friends also booked to join. Well where do I start, the food in this hotel is horrendous, the drinks are awful. As a group of 15 of us we have tried all sorts to find one that tastes nice, failed not one drink is nice. The Chinese waitress in the bar area is the most miserable person I’ve ever met never has a smile and dumps the drinks at the bar with a bang. I’ve asked to use a tray to carry drinks to the pool side as we large group and been told no we cannot use one even though I’ve said I would return it, I was told to use the black plastic plate which of course is not practical. The rooms are clean but water, tea coffee has not once been refilled. No metal teaspoon either have to use a wooden stirrer. We are all due to be leaving Sunday 16th and would not be coming back here, also no mention that the pool side is non smoking, have to walk to outside bar area whenever someone wanted a cigarette, this should be mentioned at least on there page, have seen cats waking around inside the restaurant eating left overs from peoples plates, I don’t mind cats but found this to be very unhygienic. Overall speaking on behalf of our large group would not recommend.

We booked this hotel as an extra treat and spent double what we would normally spend for a week all inclusive, yet didn’t come across or see anything to have been worth the extra spend, just the same typical 3* all inclusive. Now we did upgrade to a 1 bedroom apartment and this was totally worth it (£190). The hotel is HUGE. Our apartment/bungalow was in the middle of the “two” hotels, therefore not close to anything but equally not too far from something. The only fault with the room would be the lack of a chair or stool inside for getting ready with. The maids here are far too eager! We were often woken up at 8 with a maid in the room!! Why so early!! They would then come back 5 mins later as if we should have jumped out of bed to then let them in!! The do not disturb signs are no good in the bungalows as they just blow off! We also had items of clothing stolen from our terrace. On our last day! Whilst we were still in the room, with an hour to go before check out, they turned up to restock the tea and coffee and water for the next guests!!! Food, again was average, it almost became a chore going for food rather than an experience! Labelling was also all over the place so never knew what you was getting, one night it said turkey! Well it was very very very pink!! I wasn’t even chancing it incase it was actually turkey! Food at the snack bars also never changed. As with some other reviews, we found the bar staff to be rude, but as with the others, only seems to be towards English! On one occasion, rather than just one queue, multiple queues had formed, one for each bar staff, they happily served the multiple German guests in front of me (at least 5), as soon as I got to the front, I was! refused service and to go back to one queue. The reception staff and restaurant staff however were all very friendly, and so was the pool bar at the quiet side. The place is also like a maze, full dead ends. Whilst the main public areas such as bars etc are all nice, the many many many walk ways/corridors need a great improvement! For what we paid, we expected so much more! My advice would be, if you are considering spending more on your holiday this year than usual, don’t spend it here, you don’t get anymore for your money and you are not made to feel like a guest, but just a number. Finally! Whilst we were there, another guest sadly passed away. The life guard did everything he possibly could! So well done to him! What was absolute outrageous and disgusting was it took over 10 minutes for any other member of staff to come to his help!!! Leaving other guests performing CPR!

This Hotel does everything so well from check in to check out . The food is lovely and the restaurant staff are meticulous in every department . All the staff at the hotel are so polite and nothing is to much trouble . There is also entertainment every night If you want it ! The location is great , right opposite the beech . Centre of PDC is 15 min walk . Airport transfer by taxi is 10 mins costing €12 to 15 . Rooms are very comfortable and spacious and maids come in every day .
