스프링 호텔 비타코라(Spring Hotel Bitácora)

Rooms are adequate for 2 adults but as a family we found it extremely crammed. This is also the case for the pool…. Sunbeds are always taken early morning…. There are simply not enough sun loungers for families, if you want to get a good space you need to be at the pool by 7:30/ 8am . This means a 3 hour wait as you can not leave the loungers unattended or your towels will be removed so you have to take it in turns to go for breakfast. The sun rises over the front of the hotel so it also mean waiting in the shade until around 10/10:30 for the sun to come over the hotel. We ended up spending a lot of time away from the hotel and not using our all inclusive for most the week. Food was average. Breakfast I found was fine and enjoyed. The 2 night we had dinner it was busy but ok. Food around the pool was good, Freshly made but simple fast food such as chips and hot dogs. Drinks are easy to get at the pool bar. No kettle in the room. Reception was happy to provide us with one but there is no tea or coffee but we needed it for a baby to make bottles. Check in and out was easily but again the lobby was filled with a lot of guests. After taking the baby for a 20 min walk outside to get him to sleep he was awake due to kids jumping, shouting, screaming in the lobby area so we then also had a tired screaming baby for our journey home. We wouldn’t return to this hotel however the staff did their best with what they had and should be commended on that. We were also not there in school holidays so it will only get busier!

Average! Travelling as solo parent with 11 year old. Visit Tenerife every year but first time at bitacora. Went all inclusive and chose bitacora as sounded like it would have lots to do for my child. Arrived later in evening so missed meal. Went to our room on 5th floor. Room lovely and clean , no faults with room. First morning went for breakfast, good selection. Main pool closed on first day, but kids were allowed in adults pool. Which was chaos. Far to crowded and adults all moaning as kids in there pool. So we went out for the day. Ice cream machine not working 9 times out of ten. Machine to order food was down , so had to que got ages to order manually. Staff very stressed and it showed. Lunch good at outside pool bar. Evening meal average, ate out few times as got bored of evening food. Some of the staff were lovely and deserve a medal for going above and beyond, but some staff need to learn to smile and at least make eye contact. Average experience here, had a nice holiday. But definitely wouldn't rush to book bitacora again, especially as it's a lot priced than other local hotels that offer same service.

Lovely hotel and staff. Hotel is immaculate with cleaners constantly on the go throughout the day. Lovely pool area and slides for the kids are great. My 3 year old was under 110cm however so could only use the toddler pool ones. Rooms were very spacious even with a cot and the sofa bed out. We were on the 3rd floor and did have problems with ants throughout our stay on the floor and on the sofa bed. When reported to reception they had housekeeping come spray the floor and change the bedding really quickly each time which was great. No cockroaches in the rooms and we never seen any inside the hotel either which I was concerned about from previous posts before we arrived. Great location, 2 minute walk to the safari centre restaurants and shops. 10 minute walk to the beach. Bus stop outside for Siam and other parks. Couldn't be in a better location. We went all inclusive and although we would return to the hotel, we would not return all inclusive again. The pool bar food was lovely however we found the lunch and dinner at the buffet very bland, repetitive and not a great selection for young children (we had a 2year old with us). Our first 2 days there was only beans or chips at each meal our child would have ate, I raised to the manager that the food wasn't very child friendly and they did then incorporate more things for children after that which was appreciated. However, in comparison to other all inclusives we have been at the food was not great. Breakfast was lovely. We didn't try the grill area where they cook the meat for you but did try the pasta area and the pasta sauce was like water. We had to eat out several nights for our child to eat so just something to bear in mind when booking if you have children. A lot of children I passed were just eating plates of chips with tomato sauce at each meal. Other than improving the food there were 2 other things I noticed when there which I feel the hotel should review. Our room door did not have any latch lock or chain further up the door which is the only hotel I've ever stayed in that hasn't had this. This meant my 2 year old could pull the door handle down and the door would just open resulting in her walking out the room several times when I was in the bathroom which is not great at all and something I feel needs added since it's advertised as such a child friendly hotel. Secondly, the balcony of our room had a large section of it that did not have glass between the top frame. I think from looking at other rooms there is ment to be flowers in there but ours was empty and it would be easy for a child to climb up there in a matter of seconds which I also found concerning. Photographers were great with the kids and a nice addition to be able to purchase some pictures if you like them. Entertainment was more aimed for older children during the day but there was a mini disco at 8.30pm every night. We were there for the white party which was out at the pool area and was good for the kids. Did go

An excellent hotel with friendly staff. Have seen some recent reviews saying the food was terrible, which it was far from, it was excellent. Lots of choice, if you just want to eat burger and chips then there’s a Mac D down the road! 🤦🏻 Evening entertainment was very good and with a main act on each night. If you’re there when the White Party is on, then go, it’s fantastic! Room was spacious for the 3 of us and cleaned every day Great location only a 5 minute walk to the main high street with lots of bars, restaurants and the fountains. Recommend you do the Teide by night trip when you’re there too. It’s very good! Overall a good hotel which I would stay at again.

Spring Bitacora Hotel Tenerife 🏖 @springhotels @maymusic_tenerife This time last year we had a fabulous family holiday first week in January 2022 at the Bitacora in Playa Las Americas Tenerife Location📍This hotel is situated in a fab location right in the centre of Playa Las Americas 5 minutes walk to the beach and the Safari Centre! Pool and Activities 🏊‍♂️🛝The Hotel has fabulous day and night entertainment for Children and adults, my kids are 5 and 10 and loved the activities in the pool the slides cater for both younger and older kids the games room and the amazing play park situated at the back of the hotel in a shaded area! The kids clubs are also fab so well organised! Entertainment 🎤💃, Evening entertainment for the kids was everything from kids disco, shows, arts & crafts and games in the lobby then we would head up to the main bar and theatre room for the evening entertainment where they had a different Disney shows each night for the kids then adult shows after which the kids were welcome to stay for! Food 🍲 we were Half Board and food was lovely they also catered well for my daughter who has a Gluten Intolerance they were great with food allergies and intolerances! Adults Only Area 🙌🥂The hotel also has an adults only area on the roof too called UP where you find a lovely infinity pool, hot tub, selection of drinks and snacks! 💷Being part of the travel programme you get great rates for this hotel and it’s partners hotels too! This hotel ticks every box for a brilliant family holiday. Have read lots of reviews and don’t understand some people’s expectations and petty gripes about things that are really not important when on holiday! We have been to the hotel many times and always had a great time. Reception- always been helpful with any queries Rooms- more than adequate Meals- breakfast and evening dinner always had plenty to choose from, also seemed to be well stocked on food for people with allergies. Entertainment team- brilliant, we have seen numerous teams over the years and this year they are up there with the best, always tried to include everyone from small children through to adults in the daytime activities. Pool-we were always up early for beds and got them around the pool, most days they were mostly taken by 8am, none of the crazy dash for beds that we have seen in past years as the gates were opened earlier this time, that is the way it is when there are more guests than beds. Evening entertainment-my only negative, it used to be outside a few years ago but for some reason for the last couple of years it is now in the inside bar, we used to enjoy sitting outside where it was cooler. Summary-not the cheapest hotel but a brilliant hotel, we will almost certainly be back

Having previously stayed in the Bitacora when my children where younger my husband and I decided to go back and we booked a package directly with the hotel itself. We stayed in the UP for 1 week & it was fantastic i felt like a queen staying here so peaceful & tranquil with low music playing. I have to mention May (customer services) & Christina who worked in the UP bar both are an asset to your hotel lovely friendly girls in fact all staff are lovely. We had a fantastic holiday & met some lovely people. I would highly recommend & definitely my husband and i will be back thank you everyone at Bitacora

Nice hotel , friendly staff , didn’t use the bars, room cleaning ok the phone was dusty etc and I don’t think the floors were cleaned but they did come in the afternoon which was perfect for us . Food was ok but the restaurant was extremely busy , we found nice local places to eat out within 5- 10 mins walk . Water park was great, we got a taxi for 10 euros rather than wait on bus. My only real small gripe with the hotel is that our travel provider and the spring hotel app both said pool towels were included with our pool view room and when I queried this with reception I was told that only the UP rooms get this and we had to pay a deposit and then go and find the life guard to get towels and on the last day when we wanted to return the towels the life guard was no where to be seen , we waited for 20 mins before eventually just taking them to reception . If towels are not included in pool view rooms the description should be amended. I was worried about seeing bugs after reading other reviews before travelling but thankfully I didn’t see any in our room or anywhere else in the hotel. This hotel is great for families.

Poor hotel , not for family ! No available subbed from 8am!!!! Not nice staff , poor cleaning room service ! This hotel prefer adults only not family ! Only food is excellent 👌 But never back again ! Not recommended !!!! ……………………………………….:::;:
