New hotel, great staff, rooms are good size, a lot of pools, plenty of fodd, good drinks, a little far from everything, probably the best hotel in Cuba.

I am behind schedule in writing this review related to my visit over New Year’s Eve 24/25. This was my second visit to the Melia Trinidad Peninsula and really impressed again. Stayed in The Level section this time as it was now open. The rooms in this section are great and the concierge service was fantastic. Lizandra was AMAZINY. She went above and beyond every day to make our stay amazing. She even arranged to have us meet up with her at her home in Trinidad on her day off as it was our last day in Cuba. The food at this resort is way above average. We ate lobster 5/7 nights for dinner including NYE! Having a dedicated pool/restaurant/bar/beach area was really great during the busy holiday season. Ilyanet and Irian at the pool bars were great and so welcoming all week. Great live shows almost every night and our good friend DJ Rolay spinning great music after the show! The two Edwardo’s served great specialty coffees during the day and great drinks at night. Lazaro was our man at the Level restaurant! Juan the manager is constantly roaming the property to ask for feedback and provide help as needed. Can’t recommend this place enough for the property and mostly the staff!!

Great hotel and great staff ! The food is very good here and this is my 5th time in Cuba. A big thank you for rosy from sunwing for her great service ! She is truly dedicated!

Good experience overall.The room is ok but there is so many moskitos in the area. The food is ok but need more variety
