First time we booked directly a vacation address instead of using tour operations. What a great decision it was. Ideally situated a few minutes way from the beach and 10 walk from the town centre, a bus stop and supermarkets. The location has one of the best(not crowded) swimming pools we came across last 15 years not mention the beautiful garden. Some rooms have a sea view and are recommended to book at an additional cost and are absolutely worth these extra costs. Close to tourism and at the same far away from it when you want to keep away from it, this is a ideal spot to find your perfect vacation.

From the moment we arrived until our departure, we experienced the typical friendliness and hospitality which we love so much about Greece during our lovely stay at Villa Rita. We are frequent visitors of Greece for decades now already and this is one of those little gems that we always hope to find when we are planning another visit again. Spiros and Evgenia’s Villa Rita obviously is the result of hard work and lots of dedication over the years. The place offers all one needs for a carefree stay and feels like a home abroad. Located in a quiet corner of the island, away from all the hustle and bustle of mass tourism, here one finds the down to earth genuine hospitality and kindness of the owners and their commitment to deliver a pleasant stay in a comfortable place that has been furnished with obviously loving decorative touches and with just all that one needs, without going overboard in excessive luxury. The spacious, yet small scale accommodation is surrounded by a large and lovely garden which offers lots of places to sit in sun or shade. In addition to a nice and quiet pebble beach at a short stroll from the villa, there is also a large pool on the premises. Public transportation, supermarkets and restaurants all within reasonable walking distance. Last but not least, we definitely want to emphasise the traditional friendliness and hospitality of our always helpful host Spiros, his wife and even his friends Yannis and Jacovos, who always offered a kind word, good advice and food and drinks like we were visiting longtime friends. Struttura bellissima. Pulita, semplice, con un giardino curato e una piscina molto bella. Host gentile e disponibile. La zona è un angolo di paradiso nell’isola di Creta, ideale per visitare la costa ovest e ottimo compromesso fuori dal caos delle cittadine (Kissamos, Chania). 8 notti di puro relax, consigliata l’appartamento panoramico con vista sul mare :)
