Wonderfully helpful and knowledgeable host, amazing homecooked breakfast prepared by the very talented mother of the host, the beautiful rooms are uniquely restored in old style. They overlook the garden and sea. The town is a hidden gem. We stayed off season but found a few restaurants open. 3 nights were too few!! 10/10

Absolutely the reluctant hotel! We were cyclists booked into this hotel and we were the first to arrive. Door was locked? No door bell or posted telephone number to contact reception. We waited about 20 minutes until a gentleman on the second floor came to a window and acknowledged that we wanted to check in. Since we were part of a cycling tour, we expected a normal check in. There was an issue of what was available at reservation time and what was available now. We volunteered to pay an extra 20€ so every one in group got the same quality of room. The 4 others in our group arrived about 30 minutes later and the too could not find a reception and waited about 30 minutes for someone to notice them. After dinner my wife and I went to our room and folded down the bed to find that the sheets appeared NOT TO HAVE BEEN CHANGED and there was blood on both sheets! Of course NO ONE was in reception. I found a business card and called the “male owner” and he finally had his mother come to our room with clean linen. Breakfast was very good, but the owner and I got into a “ conversation” the next morning over the bloody linen, extra room costs and things in general. I would never stay here again!!!

Bed and breakfast magnifico, reception bellissima con rondinelle all'Interno e stanza arredata da favola. Posto ottimo per andare a fare il bagno al mare e colazione squisita e tradizionale. la struttura carinissima. Fuori la portata c'erano anche dei bellissimi gattini 😺😻🥰 Andateci merita è veramente stupendo!

Difficult to find.. we stayed for two nights as part of a self guided cycle tour.. we arrived in the piazza and saw several signs pointing to La Casa Blu, but they were down stairs, and we had heavy e-bikes, I called the hotel, and yes down we had to go, around 30 steps down.. it is in an old building, I think the owner said 1700 something, my Italian was so so, and her English the same. She showed us down through a dusty and dark, uneven stairs to a room called ‘Notte il museo’ or similar, the actual room was not too bad, small, view of an overgrown garden, but darkish and I felt ‘grit’ under my feet. The stairwell is full of ancient bits and pieces which some people might find interesting, quaint, but all I could see were the years of dust accumulated everywhere, so much stuff impossible to clean, same with breakfast room, and the place smelt musty and dusty… I think the room we were given was the budget price for the cycle company, and there were rooms above us which must have had nice views to the sea and no doubt a lot bigger, there are other buildings where they have rooms and probably these are better, just not a good experience for us.

Se si è alla ricerca di una vacanza "slow", di un luogo ricco di storia, tradizioni, di un territorio che va dai monti al mare cristallino come il Cilento, Pisciotta e "La casa nel blù" sono state per noi la scelta più indovinata. La casa nel blù ê un esempio autentico di continuità e valorizzazione del territorio, un piccolo scrigno di storia e passione condiviso da tutta la famiglia e collaboratori, uniti al comfort essenziale che anche una famiglia possa desiderare. La colazione un vero idillio di sapori.

E' qui nel borgo storico di Pisciotta , abbarbicato in uno dei tanti pendii colmi di ulivi che precipitano scoscesi verso il mare del cilento,che abbiamo scoperto l'hotel diffuso Casa Blu . Risiede in un palazzo del '600 rivolto verso il mare con il suo monumentale portone in legno davanti a 2 giardini di limoni tra i vicoli del borgo. La nostra dimora per 6 giorni. La nostra camera ampia dai soffitti di larice ci offre una vista e una brezza sia dal mare che dalla lussureggiante montagna. Ci offre di sera, al calare della prime ombre , persino lo stridio dei rondoni che giocano numerosi a rincorrersi pericolasamente fino a sfiorare i muri della camera da cui apprezziamo commossi lo spettacolo e il legame sincero con la natura. Ci accolgono 2 persone dal piglio schietto e sapiente che ci illuminano dei loro luoghi,dolci antichi,Il Migliaccio o le loro marmellate di arance,limoni e cetrangolo e perfino dettagliati percorsi antichi per giungere con le proprie gambe o in bici nelle località vicine o in calette preservate,così come lidi nascosti di Pozzano dove gustare loro prelibatezze. Tutt'attorno e raccolti alle piazzette e alle tante salutari scale e vicoli, ristoranti e trattorie di sincera bontà a cui vi rimane il dubbio se sceglierli rivolti verso il mare ruffiano o la sua montagna severa..
