라우리히호프(Laurichhof)

This is possibly the best designed hotel in which I've ever slept. We stayed in the white room - WhiteOut. It was Hobson's choice as almost all of the rooms were already booked for the weekend which we decided on at the last minute. We thought it might be a little bland. Far from it. The dazzling white room was stunning. The rest of the hotel was as good as the room. The layout, around a central terrace/courtyard, reminded me of some Mediterranean resorts and the design elements that made the room so visually attractive were everywhere, inside and out. We ate in the restaurant. Not a huge choice but the food was very well cooked and presented. We'll be back 😊

This is what I can only describe as a 100 percent hotel — everything just works. From the bright parking garage with plenty of space, to the wonderfully designed rooms, to the beautiful courtyard, to the awesome cooking from the restaurant chef, and the extremely friendly and serviceminded staff. And on top of that, the hotel has a great geographic placement right between the big city of Dresden and the awesome national park, Der Sächsische Schweiz. I am definitely coming back.

Stayed here in September for 3 nights in a Blueberry Fields Suite (I believe it was room #8). As we were booking at the last minute, this was the last room we could book. Even though a bit too dark for me, the suite was very comfortable during our short stay. The bathroom was beautiful, the room was spacious and had a small but cozy separate bedroom, large closet space, and a nice balcony overlooking the inner courtyard of the hotel. The location of the room could be troublesome for those with limited mobility; we had to take a few steps up/down whenever going out of the hotel (through the courtyard), and whenever going to the restaurant/ reception building. There is a small luggage elevator at the reception, which is helpful. The parking was at an additional fee and was quite tight, but it was great to have that option to do day trips out of Pirna. The location of the hotel was quite good; in a quieter neighbourhood across the river from the Old Town of Pirna, but not too far away. We walked to Old Town for dinners in the evenings, and that walk over the beautifully lit up bridge was taking no more than 10-15 minutes, and it felt safe and enjoyable. There aren’t many restaurants near the hotel; other than the hotel’s own restaurant. We tried it for breakfast each morning (at a fee), and it was very good; fresh food, lovely presentation, very pleasant staff. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay at the Laurichhof and thought it was a great choice in Pirna. We were also very pleased with picking Pirna as a hub for exploring the region’s attractions. Highly recommended!

Das Zimmer war zu kalt. Nur im Bad konnten wir den Heizkörper selbst regeln. Die Sitzgelegenheiten im Zimmer waren unbequem. Das Bett war okay, das Frühstück war gut.

Vraiment rien à redire concernant cet hôtel! Il est très commodément situé dans un quartier calme de Pirna, assez proche du centre historique (qu'on peut atteindre à pied moyennant l'utilisation d'un bac). La ville de Pirna est elle-même une excellente base de départ pour la Suisse saxonne, ou pour une journée à Dresde et même à Meissen. L'originalité de l'hôtel est le raffinement de sa décoration, avec des chambres toutes différentes et des espaces communs originaux. Notre suite était grande comme un petit appartement, avec kitchenette, mini-salon, très grand lit d'excellente qualité et salle de bain dotée d'une belle douche à l'italienne. Le balcon donnait sur l'espace intérieur, calme, et était très agréable pour une soirée d'été. Le petit-déjeuner est de qualité avec un grand choix de sucré et salé, en partie présenté en mignardises savoureuses. Si l'on veut chercher la petite bête, on entend un peu la circulation de la rue depuis la salle, dont la décoration est aussi créative que le reste. Le personnel est avenant, la personne à l'accueil peut renseigner et discuter de façon intéressante... d'art et de décoration. Un bémol, selon une pratique assez répandue désormais en Allemagne, la chambre n'est pas faite tous les jours. Le prix assez élevé (environ 160€ en juin dans notre cas, pour une suite qui n'était pas la plus grande) est tout à fait justifié par la qualité et par la taille des suites.

Hier waren Designer am Werk, die ihr Handwerk verstehen. Ungewöhnlich hochwertige Ausstattung unseres Apartments. Metrofliesen im Bad, Lautsprecher, modernste Lichtschalter und Bewegungsmelder, Tablet im Zimmer und und und... Alleine die Beschreibung der Koch- und Kühlecke würde den rahmen sprengen. Hier wurde an alles, wirklich alles gedacht !

Wir waren jetzt für 3 Nächte im Laurichhof.Unser Zimmer Bauhaus war sehr schön gross,hell und sauber.Das Bad hat eine angenehme Grösse,die Dusche ist toll und viele Abstellmöglichkeiten,Haken für Bademäntel fehlen jedoch.Der Balkon ist auch toll ,wenn auch ohne Privatshäre.Was mich sehr gestört hat,es gibt,ausser im Bad,keinen Spiegel,wo man sich mal im ganzen sehen kann.Zum schlafen war es sehr ruhig..Mit der Fähre ist man schnell in der Altstadt.Frühstück hat uns gut gefallen.Auch das Essen im Lazy Laurich,welches wir 2mal abends genossen haben,war wirklich ausgesprochen gut und schmackhaft.Da es aber beide male sehr leer war,hatte man den Eindruck das Personal möchte Feierabend machen.Auch finde ich es nicht gut,dass man am späteren Abend absolut nichts trinken kann in diesem Hotel.Eine Bar wäre schön,um auch die schöne Terrasse nutzen zu können.So hat man insgesamt mehr den Eindruck von Urlaub in der Ferienwohnung statt im Hotel verwöhnt zu werden.Ein interessantes Hotel mit tollen Zimmern,nettem Personal,gutem Essen,aber irgendwie hat mir was gefehlt.

Alles i.o.. Belichtung war etwas zu dunkel im Raum.
