It is a boutique hotel where the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Service was generally good. There is a beach a few steps away and across from the dirt road which leads to the hotel and beyond. It is not a beach for getting into the water out of strong currents. It is a great hotel for a few days. There is even a small gym surrounded by nature. Not all rooms have ocean views.

A beautiful location with a great view. The staff was very professional and made us feel very welcome. A very good bartender made good cocktails and the food was also perfect. We brought some friends for dinner and they was very impressed.If you are in Pipa don't miss this place.

We had an amazing week of vacation at this wonderful place! It is beautifully located with a natural beach just below, and the buildings are surrounded by stunning nature. The interiors are made from natural materials and thoughtfully designed down to the smallest detail. The food is absolutely fantastic, 100% gluten-free, which suited us perfectly since one in our group is gluten intolerant. Much of the food comes from their own garden. The service is top-notch! We were so well taken care of by all the staff. Juan recommended us some lovely excursions, and there are shuttles into Pipa. We travel a lot and enjoy exploring new destinations, but this is a place we truly want to return to. A big thank you to all the staff at Filha da Lua, and a special thanks to Juan, who always went the extra mile!

Beautiful place! Best location on the brasilian beaches and landscape. Hotel architecture and interior really impressive and well curated: everything made with natural material (mainly wood). Staff very professional Very high quality and tasty food (all gluten and lactose free). I am looking forward to going again.

Went for dinner with some friends. We have been there several times before and wanted to show our friends how good it was. The visit was a great disappointment. We ordered some starters wich wasn't great. Two ordered steak and those where dry and tasteless. One ordered fish with clams and this was also dry and most of the clams was not opened so we could not eat them. One ordered spaghetti vongole and again most of the clams was dead before cooking. We made the waiter aware that they served dangerous food, but he just left. After a while we asked him to come to the table and he said that the chef told him that the clams was ok and we just had no knowledge of food. They charged us full price for food that was destroyed in the kitchen. It was an embarrassment to bring friends there and we will not make this mistake again.

Just had a fantastic week at Filho da Lua. The whole experience really outstanding, location, rooms, facilities, but especially the staff - always attentive, going out of their way to help, meet special requests. And every day, a few small surprises - evening cookies, welcome drinks, mid afternoon snacks and appetizers. For celiac’s, Filho da Lua is an oasis, a safe and happy harbor and base for exploring this beautiful part of Brazil. And for non-celiac’s, your surprise will be that food with no gluten is this good. Highly reccomend Filho da Lua.
