Great location: 50m from the ski chair. Very good restaurant chef: duck was served in one day and it was very well prepared. Thermal hot springs inside the hotel are very typical for Chilean hotels but no necessarily for a ski in/ski out hotel, Bring water and wine and everything will be fine.

My teenage son and I stayed here a week whilst we skied. So, the standouts for me were: - The thermal pools, which bathe you in very warm volcanic water: you can be outside comfortably even when being snowed on. - The food was largely excellent, home made and filling with occasional interest, such as Chilean sea snails (you have to try). - The restaurant staff were pleasant and keen to help. - Access to the ski slopes when working (see my review of resort) is good and convenient. What was OK: - Standards of service - There were lots of opportunities to improve my basic Spanish, although a small number of staff had very good English - The room (although for the price we would have expected more, to be homnest, but this is skiing in Chile) What could be better: - By the end of the week, my back started to ache; the quality of the beds is not good. The roms in particular could do with some money being spent on them. - We had some mini powercuts during the night, resulting in the TV coming on automatically and blaring out a local channel, which then meant getting up and looking for the remote control to switch off. - There were occasions when I made requests from staff and they looked shocked, but this may well have been a language barrier; I hope I managed these better as the week went by. For those comparing hotels, word on the street is that Altos Nevados is very convenient (as higher) and more modern, but the food is not so well received; Termas has a chlorinated pool and is much more expensive. If we go again, now I know the resort, I would consider staying in Las Trancas, which is down the valley, although a car would be important.

The place is magnificent. It is an incredible and unique landscape combinating native forest, hot springs, ( I even saw woodpeckers ), mountain and much snow. In terms of nature it is a very nice place to visit and it is worthwhile. I went there for skiing, apart than knowing the place, which I knew it is wonderful. Unfortunatelly, during my stay there was a very bad weather which made the skiing very painstakingly and...not very pleasant ( I only could ski in three ski slopes; the rest was impossible because of the weather ). Besides, the ticket price, por me, is very expensive: worth 60000 CLP, without any discount considering my age (69); in La Parva, which is much nearer from my house, the ski ticket for me ( considering my age) is worth 13000 CLP and with much better snow than Nevados de Chillán. I would't go againg for skiing there.

Pontos altos; 1 localização ski in ski out, sai esquiando e pega uma cadeira, 2 restaurante comida boa e farta no café da manhã e jantar com opções, piscina com água de fonte vulcânica a 38 graus excelente p o pós ski Pontos fracos; é o primeiro resort de neve que vou que não tem água a vontade, as pessoas desidratam na altitude e com esforço mas só tem água livre no restaurante no horário das refeições, não tem frigobar e essa é uma pegadinha, vc tem que constantemente comprar água em garrafinhas 2.5 dólares cada, como vc está isolado (não tem vila nem transporte) é sua única opção. O staff do hotel de maneira geral é cordial e educado porém não consegue informar nada que não seja da rotina do hotel, nada sobre a pista ou a região. O preço é alto e vale pela localização. Bom hotel para famílias não tão bom p esquiadores experientes

encuentro cara la comida y me queda la sensación que no lo vale, la atención de los garzones muy buena.
