Baladin Zanzibar Beach Hotel

Our 13 night stay at Baladin Beach Resort was phenomenal. The surroundings are paradisiacal and beautiful. The hotel does not have a large capacity, which is why you quickly establish a friendly connection with the other guests and staff within the hotel. The hotel is lovingly decorated and the color and furnishing concept runs through the entire property. Our bungalow was a dream. Every detail fits the concept perfectly. Every day was cleaned and towels and bed linen were changed. Overall, you feel very comfortable. Only the beds are quite hard and after 12 nights we were happy to sleep in our own bed again. Nicole and her team are very caring, even beyond the usual business. You always get help and support with questions or tour planning. The excursions offered by the hotel are also great and highly recommended. The restaurant offers a varied selection at fair prices. If the selection becomes too monotonous at some point, you can go to the neighboring restaurants. You can also ask for recommendations. Thanks to the Baladin team for this wonderful vacation!

Stunning little place. Beachfront rustic and very friendly. Very relaxed place. Rooms are fantastic. Very clean and basic. Mosquito nets above the beds add a bit of romance as well as protection from the little bugger mosquitos. Tea and coffee in the room. Food is lovely- highly recommend the exotic salad! On our arrival night they had a bbq which was unreal with so much choice for food! Booked boat excursion for the star fish and snoring which was great, though they only run during low tide and it’s a little walk out to the boat. Would recommend going with baladon as they are insured and reputable. The other guys out in the sea are not. Went on the sunset boat trip which was great in the little sail boats. The bar was questionable but never the less amazing experience. Taxi will come to pick you up after dark. Views are unreal. Beach is relatively quiet and not many people harassing you to buy things. The rock restaurant is a very short walk away and can see it from the resort. Pool is nice. Variety or loungers, swing beds and chairs. Nicole is very friendly and makes sure that everything is ok every day.

The beach resort was amazing with very welcoming and friendly staff. Our AC had stopped working at night but Nicole arranged it to be fixed ASAP. Would definitely recommend staying here again. Service was good and they also had entertainment on Valentine’s Day.

We spent the last days of our honeymoon at Baladin AND we wish we could stay!! This is an incredible piece of paradise! Calm and relaxing and incredibly kind and helpful staff. The bungalow had such attention to detail that it was truly inspiring and joyful just to see all the passion that has created this place. You will regret if you don’t pay them a visit, and if you’re lucky spend a few nights there on your trip. Last but not least the dramatic changes of the tide gives you a great opportunity to truly enjoy the wonders of our incredible earth and natures wonders. Thank you Baladin!

It was a wonderful experience, every detail is extraordinarily thought out. The food at the restaurant is excellent and varied. It was the third vacation in Zanzibar and Baladin is by far at the top of my preferences. The place seems to have a special energy and the whole team is great! I am so looking forward to going back there
