I had stayed with my family at the Morickap Resort in early May'25 and I must state that this is presently among the better places to stay in the region. Set near the Banasura Dam, this is undoubtedly a great option for all kinds of travelers excepting the ones looking for ‘value’. As far as the location of the resort is concerned, it’s close to the Banasura Dam and nearby attractions but relatively far from places like Kalpetta or Sulthan Bathery. The resort offers enchanting villas and rooms to suit all kinds of travelers and the relatively expensive villas have breathtaking views of the surroundings. The property is extremely well-maintained and you won't find a speck of dust in the entire property, whether you are in the rooms or anywhere else. The buffets here are pretty great and the multicuisine experience they offer can hardly be matched. The people here are always eager to help you out and you can’t hope for better hosts in a place like this. To sum things up, I would rate this among the best options to stay in Wayanad. The only downside is probably the fact that the pricing is a little too high and the management would do well to be more competitive in this regard.

One of the best place we have ever visited in wayanad. Everything was great, from checkin to check out everything went smooth. Staffs were so good especially ms Gopika and Mr jayakrishnan really helpful and very kind throughout our stay. Food was top-notch, we had breakfast and dinner which was buffet and every dish was amazing Will definitely recommend to friends and families and will come back again soon.

We stayed at Morickap Resort, Wayanad, on 15/03/2025 and had booked two studio rooms. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-maintained. My kids thoroughly enjoyed the zipline and skywalk activities, while I had a great time playing football with them on the turf. We also had a refreshing swim in the pool. In the evening, we enjoyed a wonderful live music performance, which added to the delightful ambiance of the resort. The next morning, we took a serene, misty walk around the property, soaking in the peaceful surroundings. Afterward, we had a fairly good breakfast buffet before checking out. The stay was a truly enjoyable experience for my family. A special mention goes to the thoughtful hospitality extended to my mother, who has difficulty walking. She was provided with a wheelchair, allowing her to explore the entire property comfortably. I also appreciate that most of the main areas are wheelchair accessible. However, I would like to suggest an improvement: installing sturdy grab bars near the toilet to make it more elderly-friendly. My mother faced some difficulty standing up after using the toilet due to the lack of a grab bar. Overall, we had a fantastic stay, and I sincerely thank you for the wonderful hospitality. Looking forward to visiting again!
