This hotel is wonderful, as are all the family who run it! The most wonderful welcome (despite the late hour!) and we got to choose our room (which was hard as they’re all lovely!). Spotlessly clean, delicious food and nothing was ever too much trouble; including actually sorting out a parking fine we got at Etna when we went!!! :-S thank you so much for a wonderful stay, we will definitely come back!

This is a fantastic place with the most welcoming family. Sara made us (my wife and five year old daughter) feel at home from the moment we arrived. They continued to make sure we were happy. The freshly baked cakes for breakfast were delicious and the dinner served was of the highest quality. We felt extremely comfortable throughout the week and the location provides a great view of Mount Etna. Sara also gave great advice on places to visit and park. I highly recommend, a truly brilliant experience.

The family-run Antico Borgo Petralia was a highlight of our Sicily trip. We stayed two nights in the Etna region, and found this beautiful villa-style hotel to be the perfect complement to a busy day of hiking with its friendly owners, homemade food, beautifully refurbished buildings, and relaxing atmosphere. Sara was so eager to please, she made us feel incredibly welcome! The pool area was just as delightful as we'd hoped with views of the sea on one side and Etna on the other. It made for an incredible place for a couple hours' worth of relaxation. I would go back here in an instant and almost wished we had been spending the rest of our holidays here! Definitely a must-stay for the Etna area.

This place is a real jewel. Although just outside the town it was easy to find and beautifully situated. We were made to feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. Sara, one of the owner’s daughters was an absolute delight and couldn’t have been more helpful. The food was excellent, all home made and included lots of home grown ingredients. The home-made cakes were absolutely delicious and they even gave us their recipes to try at home. There was plenty of space in our room, complete with a separate bedroom. We had a large sunny terrace overlooking the courtyard, perfect for a quiet drink in the evening. Highly recommended.

Prachtige en rustig gelegen Borgo met mooi zwembad,zicht op zee en op de Etna! Vanuit dit dorp rechtstreekse weg naar de vulkaan! Hartelijke ontvangst van gastvrouw Sara die ons bij alles goed heeft begeleid! Heerlijk ontbijt en lekker avondeten bereid door moeder Giuseppina! Ausgezeichnetes Hotel im ländlichen, rustikalen Stil, sehr ruhig gelegen mit wundervoller, herzlicher Gastgeberin Sarah mit grossem Herz samt Eltern, Verwandten und Bekannten. Wir wurden Teil der Familie. Grosse Zimmer und Badezimmer mit guter Heizung, bequemsten Betten und ausgezeichneten Storen. Das Hotel ist ein Weiler, Dörfchen mit riesigem Terrain, gesicherten Parkplätzen mit automatischem Tor, wunderschönem Pool, herrlicher Sicht auf Meer, Umgebung und Vulkan. Hervorragendes Frühstück mit feinen Produkten und frischen, noch warmen, von der Mama selbst gemachten Kuchen. Das zusätzlich angebotene, täglich variierende Abendessen kann ich nur empfehlen, mit viel Liebe fein gekocht, frisch zubereitet und herrlich präsentiert. Ich kann Antico Borgo Petralia wärmstens empfehlen für Paare, Gruppen und Familien. Danke für eine wundervolle Zeit. Grazie di cuore !
