The Nchantra Pool Suite Phuket

Pros: - on a lovely secluded beach with a pool and bar. - quiet location - spacious accommodation - private plunge pool (in ground floor apar**ents) - room serviced daily as part of the resort with towels and fresh water. - easy check in through hotel reception - on site underground parking - well equipped gym Cons: - Resort a little tired and in need of some definite TLC. More like a 3/4 star than a 5 star - the accommodation we booked (via air BnB) was more like 2 connected apar**ents (on different levels) than one. This was fine for us but worth noting if you are travelling with younger children. - you will need a car or moped if staying here but again fine for us as we were happy with the quieter location. Overall good value for money given the private beach which was pretty much empty for our entire stay.

I don’t understand how there are good reviews. Our pool villa, the reception and the walk trough the complex was dirty, old and mouldy, everywhere you looked. Rusty bathrooms. Nails poking out of the bed headboard(!). Dirty pool. Dirty kitchen. Pots and pans full of food and scratches so you ingest the coating. Loud airconditioning and blowing so hard on the lowest setting on you in the bed that when you try to cover it even your towels are waving in the wind. Jacuzzi not working. Water damage on whole lower level, wood work damaged trough all this water. What happened here? Had to leave early with my baby because of the safety hazards. Owner promised to do a refund and now ignores messages. Please be safe and don’t book!
