Ottimo hotel, buona la posizione ottima va vista sul lago. Buon ristorante.

We came here for a weekend and had a marvellous time. We woke up this morning with an amazing view of Lake Orta. The room is very clean and the stuff is very nice. We were delayed on the airport and Domenico, at reception made sure we had some food prepared for us as the kitchen was closing and we missed dinner. This evening we had a beautiful dinner in the hotel. The restaurant has a great view of the lake and the food was delicious. The hotel is very close to San Giulio where we spent most of the day walking and enjoying the medieval town. Thank you to all the staff! We will definitely come back

The staff have been working at this resort for years and are delightful. The resort itself is a family operation with nice rooms and amazing lake swimming access. Getting to the village of Orta can be a challenge without a car as the ferry hours are very limited. The food and wine choices at the restaurant are excellent as well as the views. A plus is the owners on site that are knowledgeable about wines and the area and truly care about the property

One of the best hotels I have stayed at. I can’t fault it at all. Friendly staff, excellent service, beautifully clean, delicious food. Lovely swimming pool and easy access to other areas via the ferry right which stops right outside the hotel terrace. Would definitely recommend it.

Very pleasant stay at the Giardinetto. An oasis at the side of Lake Orta. Staff helpful. Restaurant lively but well served. Food great and wine list worth exploring. The walk "off the beaten track" into Orta was interesting and the view from the top of the hill in Orta was beautiful. The town was busy with plenty of restaurants. Timing the return by boat to the hotel was difficult. More options would have been better. Really peaceful and meditative.

Where do we begin! Paid for superior room 15 months before the holiday, organised by leger holidays. On arrival after getting in the room I had to call reception to check we had been given a superior room. Very small bathroom with shower and very tired looking. Room acceptable, until we looked out to find part of the building obscuring lake view. Dreadful noise from next door morning and very late every night, when I asked about it at reception I was told it was a guest! I knew full well it wasnt as no room number on the door......it was staff accommodation.....4 beds we saw as the door was left open. I asked to upgrade again told no available rooms. Food was basic and often inedible, definitely catered for coach holiday not the hotels full menu, standard was unacceptable. Bed was made daily and towels changed as necessary but sadly bathroom not cleaned all the week we were there. Breakfast was good and leila worked so hard in the breakfast room, always with a smile. Good position hotel on edge of village but sadly not all superior rooms got a good view. Outdoor areas and pool we're nice. Definitely needs more attention to detail, and would not recommend to anyone who expects a good standard. Wouldn't recommend leger either.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Fantastic location overlooking Lake Orta. A bit cut off from Stresa but lovely ferry trip to Orta town. Pool area superb. We had room overlooking the road - noisy especially in the morning. Room ok but en suite cramped. Could hear next doors plumbing. We stayed 7 nights and food ( evening meal) was disappointing at times. A Leger Hidden lakes and gardens of Italy trip. Breakfasts were lovely. Would have rated it very good if had a quieter better room and better food.

Wonderful lakeside position, really excellent food and dining options. Tremendous wine cellar mostly local and certainly Italian. Roof restaurant and bar outstanding. Staff very helpful and friendly. Good air conditioning in our bedroom . In all an excellent stay

We had a great time at Hotel Giardinetto! The hotel is located just on the shore of Lake Orta with beautiful views over the lake, especially from the restaurant and the roof top bar. The room was comfortable and clean, the pool area was well kept and the restaurant served very good food. Would definitely come back!
