빌라 라 프레조사(Villa la Preziosa)

Ok…just finished our stay. Every picture and every positive comment regarding Villa La Preziosa is 100% accurate. The only thing I would add is that the breakfast is extremely good. This place is wonderful. It’s not just the beauty of the gardens, the warm clean building, the beautiful rooms and the comfortable beds; it’s the gracious hosts. The owners are highly engaged and are genuinely wonderful people who do all they can to ensure your stay is amazing and memorable. If traveling through Tuscany, stay here for at least 2 nights (more if you can) and relax and enjoy. Go see Lucca, walk the peaceful town (very safe) with lots of shopping down narrow paths and many good restaurants. We rode bikes to the town from the Villa (about a 10 min ride) and walked the town. We spent the afternoons relaxing in the Villa garden, drinking coffee and wine. Visiting Lucca and staying at the Villa is an experience you will always remember.

Our stay at the Villa La Preziosa was completely wonderful. The Villa has been beautifully restored and Barbara, Gunther and their family made us feel so welcome. Lucca itself is an amazing place with lots to see and do and, thanks to the recommendations from the Villa, we found some amazing restaurants. We couldn't have had a better stay.

This is an absolutely beautiful boutique hotel run by a wonderful family. The rooms are large, well-appointed and extremely comfortable. The breakfast is scrumptious, with lots of fresh fruit, pastries, meats and cheeses, as well as eggs and beverages made to order. The location is excellent, very close to restaurants within the walls of Lucca. But the thing that stands out the most when you stay at Villa La Preziosa is that you feel so well cared for by this lovely, warm-hearted family. While we were there my adult son was celebrating a birthday. At breakfast that day, and as a complete surprise to us, the entire family and staff came out with a cake, singing happy birthday. I cannot imagine that this would happen in many hotels. If you plan to visit this lovely area, do yourself a favor and look no further than Villa La Preziosa.

Stunning newly renovated Villa. The rooms are beautiful and the garden area and swimming pool are stunning. A fabulous location just outside Lucca. Free parking a bonus and bike hire were a great bonus. The Breakfast was delicious and the cappuccinos the best. A real find

If paradise could choose a spot on earth it would be this place. What an amazing villa and the service is perfect, the staff got one goal and that is to make you feel happy. The beds showers and rooms are perfect. thank you so much Yoram

Lovely property with fabulous hosts and staff. Incredibly helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Rooms are nice, a little small and the air conditioning limited. Could benefit from greater storage in the rooms.

We describe our stay at Villa La Preziosa as 'a dream'. Calm, intimate, spotlessly clean and run by the perfect hosts who were utterly charming. Nothing we asked was too much. The breakfast was beautiful. Huge tomatoes, cheese, fruit and pastries, eggs... We loved that we were able to order a pizza through the hotel when we arrived, so that we could enjoy a stress-free evening with a glass of (very good wine), whilst playing cards in our lovely surroundings.

We had idea what to expect when we book a stay here. As son as we drove through the gates, we knew we were in for a special experience. The property is immaculate and when you walk through the front door it is more beautiful inside. Barbara, Gunther and even their children help run the Villa. The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of choices and some items made to order. There was a group of ten of us and one each room was unique and decorated with great care. Everything was spotless and clean. We certainly plan of returning at some point to share the experience with other family or friends.
