Rieser Achensee Resort

We stayed in one of the spa rooms with a sauna for 10 days and it was wonderful. Very peaceful and relaxing. The room was very comfortable, immaculate and cleaned to a high standard every day. The food was consistently of a very high standard. The spa facilities and treatments were also of a very high standard.

I have been all around Europe and most of the world and have stayed in such a beautiful place! The hotel and all of the staff were outstanding in every single way. The whole experience was faultless and the cleanliness was absolutely spotless. The restaurant and wellness centre were fabulous. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for perfection and total tranquility and relaxation.

An outstanding hotel, which offers an incredible holiday experience. Whether you want to explore the region or just stop for a week. The attention to detail throughout this hotel is remarkable. It’s beautifully designed, and gives every guest an amazing sense of space wherever you choose to dine, relax or swim. The number of staff, and their attitude to ensuring guest comfort is remarkable. There is genuinely a culture of service and a joy in doing this well. Whether in the spa, or in the wellness area or in the restaurant. The food is exceptional, and the dining environment delightful. There is so much choice in would be impossible to try everything. Teenagers, children and allergies all beautifully catered for. If you love mountains, lakes and an ability to step away from life to recharge then I don’t think you could find a better hotel.

the food in the hotel is excellent! the atmosphere wonderful. children can play. they have an indoor and outdoor swimming pool. the spa is amazing, with a lot of sauna's and different kind of massages. super clean and confy! nice staff, friendly and helpful!

We have been going to the Rieser for many years. It has always been our favourite Austrian lakes destination and we have never been disappointed with the Rieser in terms of team welcome, friendliness and service, comfort and cleanliness and the pool, sauna and spa facilities which are superb.

Good service. Good Spa. Medium Food quality but lots of choices. Clean rooms with a couple of possible improvements. Very good Gym. After building another house the hotel got big and the coat charm is gone. Earning money y providing good service is a strategy which is being implemented here. If someone looks for a quieter place with personal touch in service - this hotel is an option but certainly alternatives should be considered. Good stay if you can accept many guests arround you and you can live with usual food quality. Beverages are for free from 6 to 18.00
