Avonview Manor

Rhonda Lee and Tony were great great hosts! The house is absolutely spectacular, so much character and charm. Very clean and the room was super comfortable and tidy. Rhonda absolutely goes out of her way to make the guests comfortable and just goes above and beyond in all aspects. Her breakfast was so delicious and she kindly considered all of my food intolerances and preferences, even made me separate dishes to accommodate. The location is also so perfect, on a quiet street but only minutes to all the restaurants, shops and theatres. I also thought the place looked even better in real life than in pictures!

We really enjoyed our stay at Avonview Manor. It was a great location, the hosts (both the human ones and the canine/feline ones!) were great, and the breakfasts hit the spot every morning. I definitely would recommend staying here to future theatergoers.

The house is beautiful, very nicely decorated and our hosts were warm, gracious, and very helpful. You are in a nice residential part of town about a ten minute walk from downtown Stratford. The lasy of the house is an excellent chef and breakfast was a treat. We have been to Stratford numerous times over the last 15 years to see plays at the festival. While I remember the plays, I can honestly say I can't remember where we stayed. I will remember this experience with great fondness. Bring indoor slippers to wear when you are in the house as shoes are to be left on a mat by the front door. The decor is exquisite, period pieces and artwork and there are elements of our hosts careers from their times in show business. This is an exceptional bed and breakfast.

As a first timer going to a B&B was a little scary. However as I walked in Tony made me feel right at home. He talked about the house as he showed us the place. When we walked into the suite, it was perfect. It was cozy in the bedroom, the sunroom was great. The washroom is small. The breakfast was amazing. It was like eating at a 5 star hotel. The presentation of the food was very well done. Rhonda was an amazing cook and told stories about the house and herself. The pets were well behaved and added extra welcome. Would highly recommend this beautiful B&B. Will came again.

We had a wonderful stay at this gorgeous historic home in beautiful Stratford. The hosts, Rhonda and Tony, were interesting, friendly and gracious, and made sure we had a wonderful time. The breakfasts were gourmet, beautifullly presented and huge! We would highly recommend this lovely place.

Our first visit to Avonview Manor for our anniversary trip was delightful. Our room was comfortable, breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed some time around the pool. Rhonda and Tony are lovely host. We look forward to returning next year for our yearly visit to Stratford.
