Lovely hotel, so peaceful. The two men on are so helpful. Had dinner which was mushroom pasta which was really tasty. Room nice too. Bed very comfy. Would visit again

Staying in caravan park and came in for drinks and a meal x the staff were very pleasant and efficient x the food was lovely x well cooked and tasty x THEN while it is nice to be dog friendly I was disgusted to see a couple with a blue chihuahua on the table and running about freely all over the place no dog lead on x this could have ended being nasty x I will never use sauce sachets again as the female used one to pick at her teeth then put it back in holder x May need to state dogs should be more restrained x I do like dogs but this was terrible x

My husband and I stayed here on our way North from Kent What a fantastic place! A hidden gem! Wendy even said she would come out on her scooter to find us when we phoned to say we were lost due to diversion! Room lovely, bed so comfortable and everything new and clean Staff of Wendy, Cameron, Xanthe and Tom all amazing ( even when I set off the smoke alarm with the toaster!) We are returning for 3 nights on our way home it was so good Well done to your staff!!!

Can't speak for the Hotel; but we wanted to go to the restaurant for an evening meal, from the campsite next door. Tried looking on the website for a menu; but as there wasn't one, we were directed to phone the hotel. We got through to a lovely lady (receptionist?) who informed us that "they were having some problems with the kitchen; and at the moment, didn't have a chef"!! What??? Needless to say, we made other arrangements for dining. It's maybe worth pointing out, from a business point of view (I used to be a hotelier), that ajacent to the hotel, is a road-building site, with their own campsite, and potentially 50 to 60 hungry/thirsty men to feed and water ... and the hotel hasn't got a chef???

Nice little stay Room was adequate and tea available Lots of towels Bed was good Breakfast was filling and a lot of different options. Was quiet. Some roadworks going on to improve access to took a little while to find it. The only issue was there was a **** smell in the hotel on the night that was slightly off putting but overall a very good stay to get head down and some sleep. No races were on at the time.

Great place to stay out of the hussle and bustle. Friendly staff and very new furnishings. Would be great if had a wee fridge in the room.

There were no cups in the room for tea & coffee Fire Alarm went off at 03:50 not hotels fault but no apologies were given

At first glance it looks pretty plain basically a premier inn, but everything is just that little bit nicer. The breakfast is made to order, towels are a good size (not tiny like most hotels), the shower is also good with a wider, they give two suit case holders instead of one and the staff is unfailingly nice and polite.

Fabulous overnight stay. Excellent value, clean and tastefully decorated. Lovely breakfast included in the price. Would definitely stay here again. Arrived at 3am after a 3 hour delay and found receptionist very kind and understanding. Wouldn’t hesitate staying here again.
