Good service

I stayed in a double room on the first floor and the view of the harbour from the bay window was picturesque. The room was comfy and everything worked (TV, heating, WiFi etc). The ensuite was compact (you wouldn't be able to swing "The Mousehole Cat" in there), albeit was clean and the shower was good. All the staff were pleasant and hospitable. Notably the waitress who served me breakfast on both mornings was super. Breakfast was appetizing and I thoroughly enjoyed my evening meal; it was all very good quality. Also, serving food from late afternoon is a real plus. Thank you to all at the Ship Inn, who made my few days away very enjoyable. The weather was pretty parky and bright, which made Mousehole so charming. Regards IC

We had a great 3 night stay at The Ship Inn enjoying great food, hospitality and service not forgetting the fabulous views from our very comfortable and well appointed room overlooking the harbour and Mounts Bay. We have stayed at The Ship on a number of occasions, although this was our first visit since 2019, and are never disappointed. It's a great place to stay in a lovely village and have already booked a return visit in September to enjoy the Cornish hospitality and scenery. Thank you to every member of The Ship team in making us so welcome.

This was our third visit to The Ship Inn at Mousehole and, as ever, it was great. The staff are all super-friendly (and super-efficient), the rooms are lovely and the pub is quirky and cosy. The beer and cider are top notch and the food is excellent. Don't bother to take a car - there's a bus every 20 minutes into Penzance and from there the world's your oyster.

We were saved from camping in the rain by an absolute angle behind the bar who set us up in one of the rooms with a view last minute. Had a brilliant breakfast included in the morning served by yet another kind face. The room was clean and the bedding so soft, had the sun beaming in through the window to wake us in the morning

Lovely stay in a beautiful place. Quality of room and furnishings exceeded expectations - this isn't just a room at a pub, it's more like a boutique hotel. Great service and friendly staff. Character pub and great food and drinks. Thank you.

We had a single night at The Ship Inn but would have been happy to stay longer. The room was very comfortable and clean, and the food excellent. The whole team were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. The live music in the evening was first class.

Outstanding service across the board!! Stunning view from the room which was calm and truly serene - super comfy bed and one of the best shower rooms we have ever stayed in! Downstairs the service and welcome was immense, feeling like a proper home from home for our whole 3 night stay.

A really lovely old pub full of character, locals and friendly staff. The room was decorated to a high standard with the best shower ever. Stayed in Room 4, amazing view over the Quay. Food and service were of a good quality. Breakfast, nice options and a relaxed atmosphere.
