Dear [Hotel Management], I am writing to express my disappointment with the refund policy of your hotel. Recently, I had to cancel my reservation for [26.04.2024], and despite providing ample notice within your cancellation window, I was informed that I would not be refunded for the unused accommodation. While I understand the importance of cancellation policies, I find it unreasonable that no consideration was given to the circumstances that led to my cancellation. As a customer, I expected a more flexible approach, especially given the unforeseen nature of my situation. Not receiving a refund for the unused night has left me dissatisfied with my experience and has certainly impacted my perception of your hotel's customer service. I hope that in the future, your establishment can reevaluate its refund policies to better accommodate the needs of its guests. Sincerely, Kamil Beszczak

We have visited this region many times and this is not only the best hotel in Pec and Czech but one of the best I have visited anywhere! We stayed in one of the suites (for the price of a standard in any IHG in the UK). The room was spacious a d well decorated as well as extremely comfortable. The view awesome as well. Especially the view of Snezka from our balcony. The food excellent as well as the staff. English spoken throughout Visit Krkonose visit Hradec hotel. You won’t regret it !

Design of the hotel is nice and feels comfortable. Locate in city center with ski bus stop in front of the hotel. There are few things to be improved - beds are too soft, room was too hot during night even when you switch off heating. Min is 20.5... maybe softer blanket would help. Unable to open window so only opportunity is to open terasse door. Breakfast has good selection, during peaks is slower in refilling. Wellness and parking is paid extra and needs to be reserved separately.

I definitely do not recommend this hotel! Service and room facilities are definitely not worth the price, as well as 4 stars. My husband and I came to this hotel for 3 nights, we were tempted by the beautiful pictures and the close proximity to the slopes (and it was for the slopes that we visited this resort). However, the hotel is a disaster: 1. my husband and I were given a room adapted to people with disabilities, for people without any disabilities it was very uncomfortable to use. Not to mention that the bathroom looked like a roadside gas station bathroom, not even solitary to what you can see on the pictures on the website. When we asked for a room change we were told that this room was the normal standard and that the hotel was currently full and there was no chance to change rooms. 2 The cleaning lady limits her cleaning to making the bed. Garbage was not taken out and in addition, after cleaning she left her things in the bathroom. 3. On the second day after breakfast we had a problem getting into the room, the electric lock broke. We waited about 2h until a technician kindly came and opened the door for us. We lost the best hours on the slopes, I should add that the slopes during the day are open from 8.30 am to 4 pm and we through all this situation reached the slope before 1 pm…and as compensation we heard that while we were waiting they offer us a hot drink (it was breakfast time so we could take whatever we wanted from the bar anyway, and when breakfast was over and we were left alone in the dining area, still waiting no one from the staff was interested in us ) and we can use the wellness area free of charge (how was I supposed to use their super spa with a Jacuzzi if I couldn't get to the room?!). When we were upset and fed up with the place and my husband and I decided to leave the hotel a day early due to the hotel's fault and wanted refund only for the one night we would not be there we heard that there was no such option. They offered us a change of room (suddenly there was such an option), wine (which is free at breakfast and at the welcome anyway) and a visit to the spa area (with all the respect… the jacuzzi is not what I came there for). When we tried to explain that this compensation is no compensation and after such service we don't want to spend a minute longer here, the staff told us that they did everything in their power and we are leaving because of OUR OWN fault. And it all happens in 4 stars hotel!! Ridiculous! I TRULY recommend to choose different hotel.

My stay at this establishment was rather disappointing. The room I received was vastly different from the photos and description provided on ***********. The images on *********** showcased rooms with beautiful mountain views, while the reality was quite the opposite. Our room had a view of grey concrete walls and neighboring rooms, creating an uncomfortable and unwelcoming atmosphere. It was disheartening to find that the photos presented a misleading impression of the actual rooms available. When I inquired at the reception regarding the absence of photos for these less desirable rooms on ***********, an employee informed me that they were not obligated to display images of all room types. I showed them my reservation on *********** and requested a room that matched the photos and description, but unfortunately, I was informed that all the rooms were occupied, and they were unable to accommodate my request. I decided to write this review because I felt humiliated and believe that my rights as a customer were violated - I did not receive the accommodations I paid for. My intention is to caution other tourists against a potentially ruined experience and disappointment. It is essential for establishments to provide accurate representations of their rooms to ensure transparency and customer satisfaction

We had great stay over there! Beautiful hotel, great room with beautiful view and especially we enjoyed the restaurant in the evening, spa treatment and very helplful and attentive staff everywhere we looked around!

Clean and comfortable overall. At check in we were told the spa closes at 10pm and this is also written everywhere. We got dressed for the spa and went there at 8:50pm only for he woman there to tell us she’d had enough for the day and was closing up. Pretty disappointing as we wanted to relax after a days walking in the mountains.

This was my second time in Grand hotel Hradec so far and even thought my first one happened almost 2 years ago, receptionist Madam Lenka remembered me and completely surprised me by that! How amazing welcome! We shortly talked and then I could go to my very nice and cosy room with a sunny balcony. I really enjoyed nice walk around, delicious lunch in a restaurant right after, amazing spa time and even gym. My stay was short, but amazing again and after this experience there is no other place in Pec pod Sněžkou I am about to stay next time then this! I will definetely recommend to everyone I know, who is planing to go to PpS. Thank You so much!

This was our 3rd visit at Gradhotel Hradec. We firstly visited this place back in december 2021 and we were shocked how amazing this place was. Servis was 10/10, food was 10/10, people 10/10 and the place in general was just the best. It was brand new hotel more expensive than others around, however, we didnt care as it was just WOW. Then I came back in February 2022 with my parents and my son, we enjoyed it big time. I was soo looking forward to show them what I was talking about, especially the food. And they loved it. Well… as I would say… nothing last forever and this is just a shame it has happened here too. I came here again with my son and parents in February 2023 and honestly we were shocked what has happened to this place. They increased the prices, obviously, but thats all what came up. The service went down the hole (of course you can find exceptions) but rude waiters who prefer to serve foreigners (well the hotel is now mostly RU and UA guests who wear tracksuits and flip flops all day long behaving like they own the place) we were almost told to leave our table after finishing dinner (the restaurant was empty that time). When it comes to restaurant I was soo looking forward to the food but hey it has changed so much that we ended up going next door for lunch. One day I had salad for dinner even my 5year old could make. No specials for brekfast, we used to have eggs benedict, but thats gone. The hotel and the building itself is amazing but startung to look really worn of. There are stains on the sofas and carpets (well you can take your pet with you so you can imagine where the stains are coming from) and its been like 3 years in use, cmon guys maintainance please. Smell coming from the shower, water coming from tap like dripping. We stayed 4days… after 3 days we still didnt see anyone who would come and clean the room, take the rubbish or so, so I just threw dirty towels out the room and took new ones myself from the shelves. I dont know whether its a new trend there? Parking is a pain there and always been, but even after mentioning we are coming with big SUV they gave us a very narrow space in first row, parked car behind us so we couldnt leave because they didnt have keys from the car owner behind us? Well I could continue with more but to be honest Im just really disappointed because we used to love this place, didnt mind the higher price but after this visit I dont think we will be coming back unless they change staff or people managing the hotel. I can see a lot of money going to the marketing side but nothing to other places. The staff there, their attitude, cmon, this was just mess Im telling you, you dont want to be treated in GRAND hotel like that. Sadly, the name is the only “grand” thing left there. Mostly “foreign” staff giving you attitude at the place without supervision is not a good idea. I wanted to give less stars but I still hope things will change for better. Fingers crossed

We can ´t recommend Grand Hotel Hradec for family weekend with small kids! We had very cold room even in hall was warmer, we had only 19C. After 2 claims we received extra heathing for next night. Wellness was for 90 minutes with previous reservation and for kids 11:00-17:00 only. We received only once time slot on Saturday 11:00-12:30. For small kids there is nothing…. Only very hot Whirlpool for bigger kids. Dog per night 500 CZK. Breakfast was nice, dinner not! Our experience was not fully cooked chicken supreme with already burned skin, not fully cooked fish or overcooked very dry pork. Price is definitely not adequate to quality of the meal. On the other site wine list was great and waiters were amazing and really trying to help! even with 2 claims of fish! Thanks for helping us to survive this experience. After this wellness weekend we are all sick and disapointed.

We had very good time thanks to barmaid Dominika! Perfect and profesional service. We enjoyed gin tonic a lot!!! Good quality products, nice place profesional stuff. She is the person on place, communicative, she know about drinks, can recommend based on your mood. Very happy with Dominika service.

Nice and trendy rooms, beautiful bathroom, although the pillow was bit unfomfy, but that is about the only issue. Great restaurant with Chef Jan Horak who prepares delicious dinners. Breakfast with huge selection, can't wait to go back again!

The whole stay was a disaster, we paid 800 euros for the worst new year I have ever had, the New Years eve dinner was a complete joke, it was a circus, the staff thad no idea what they were doing, the food was horrific, undercooked and the whole restaurant was laughing at this complete and utter disaster, the afterparty even worse, the ice bar had melted and almost nobody had turned up to the afterparty, we did get a discount of 50% for complaining, but I will never ever step foot inside that absolute sham of a hotel, to pay so much money to have my night ruined by unprofessional staff and terrible food with a complete lack of understanding of what customer service is. The best part of all this, was at this special dinner which was a massive 4000kc! PER PERSON!! we had been seated next to other customers who found the whole experience hilarious and we just couldn't stop laughing at how much of a mess it was. there was no apology, not until we complained, and I feel sorry for all those people who same as we looked forward to this special dinner and were left dissapointed. its supposed to be the ' Best Hotel ' in Pec but its far from it, as someone who runs his own company, I would advise the owner of this Hotel to teach his staff proper customer service and how to deal with situations properly. on the + side, the Waiter Jaroslav was very professional and he should be the manager of the whole restaurant because he actually understands what the customer wants and needs. I wouldn't come back for free.
