We stayed only one night, as a stop over on our road trip from Ile de Re to Cap Ferret but it was very memorable. Mme was clearly passionate about tourism. She arranged for us to see the smallest vineyard in Bordeaux (which is just behind the property) and had the owner conducted a visit himself. For contract, Mme also arranged for us to visit the imposing, luxurious vineyard on the other side of the property (Chateaux Pichon Baron) but unfortunately, visit slots were full. Still, we learned a lot. What impressed me the most was the restaurant recommendations: everything was delicious and beautiful. Mme knew exactly what tourists like us need in the area: good food, beautiful atmosphere and great service for good lunches and dinner. Being a local, she knows people and places and could really organize things we need. I plan to make this our base in Bordeaux, next time we visit the area again.

The location in Pauillac in the heart of Medoc is very good on the edge of town adjacent to the stunning Chateau Pichon Baron. We stayed in the apartment with kitchen and lounge for three days which was very clean and spacious. The lovely pool and air conditioning really helped in the hot weather. Pascale and Alex could not have been more accommodating and helpful in every way. The wine tasting with Alain a few doors away was excellent. Thank you for sharing your home with us.
