Acron Villas

On the whole the villa with private pool and beautiful views was great. I visited with family including two young children aged 3 years old and a baby 10 months old. Everything went really well with our stay until the last night. At about 2:45am my brother in law heard a loud noise downstairs and discovered two men trying to break into our villa through the back door. Luckily he was able to scare them by shinning his phone torch on them and they ran away. I really dread to think what would have happened if these men got in while we were all sleeping. We alerted the complex contact but there was no one onsite and no security so we had to wait police and staff arrived. When the police arrived they came in for about 5 minutes, asked a few questions about the men and we were told to close the shutters and go back to sleep. We didn’t hear anything from them again. Something a little concerning and strange the police asked was if the men were wearing white trousers which was the uniform of the cleaning staff who had been in our villa earlier that day. I did not go back to sleep that night and sat by the back door until morning as I was concerned the men would return. The next day no one from the Acron Villas team came to check on us and when we checked out the staff were awkward about the incident and didn’t really want to talk about it. I would expect a little bit more from the staff considering what we paid for our stay. The safety and wellbeing of guests doesn’t seem to be a priority or concern. There doesn’t seem to be any evidence of this happening before based on reviews but the next day we looked at the damage to the door and there seemed to also be older marks where someone had previously tried to break in so maybe this isn’t the first time this happened. This was such a shame as we had a nice stay until this point and I would have been writing a very positive review if this incident hadn’t have happened. I would not recommend staying here especially with young children. Thankfully the incident happened on our last evening and we were able to leave first thing the next morning. If you do stay here I recommend you don’t just lock the doors, you also need to close all the additional shutters on the doors and windows at night and when you go out. I hope the Acron villas team take this review more seriously than when we spoke to them and improve the security of their guests in the future.

The property Is handled by excellent staff. George and Athanastia go above and beyond to address any issues and help with ideas for dinner locations. They made the stay so pleasant. The only issue regarding getting up to Acron Villas is the road which is very narrow and not well lighted at night.

We came to Acron villas on a girls trip, renting the Azure Villa. The villa was fabulous, with incredible views of the sea as it is situated on the hillside. It was spacious equipped with everything you would need for your stay. The service from Thomas and Athanasia was exceptional with welcoming drinks and helping coordinate our stay. The front office makes the villa community unique as they helped cater to all of what we needed, which included a private chef for breakfast, arranging reservations, and transportation for various excursions throughout our stay. We spent time on the patios and around our private pool which brought an abundance of relaxation to our group, along with enough space to do a group workout with our private fitness instructor along for the trip. I would happily stay at this villa resort again and highly recommend for anyone with a group/family. 5 stars!!!

We were welcomed by the lovely couple who manages the villa as soon as we arrived. Very lovely couple, offered us a welcome drink. We were showed to the villa, we stayed in villa number 2. We chose a lovely two-bedroom villa overlooking the sea. The pool area lacks a bit of privacy (some houses in the complex had pools that were completely visible from the street). The house was nice; however, there was only one bathroom with a shower. The rooms located on the lower floor, where lacking of natural lights, with only a small window. We used the dishwasher and the washing machine, however both of them were leaking, which was not ideal. Overall, lovely place to stay in, probably should solve the issues of leaks. The villas manager are really keen to organise transfers, rental of scooters and ATVs. Be ready to drive, as the complex is kind of secluded.

Great stay What a pleasant stay on this beautiful island! This property is built in the Yposkafa style. The rooms are a bit small compared to US standards, but there is plenty of room, a workable kitchen, and plenty of outdoor space, including plenty of room by the private pool. The staff is very responsive. This villa has an impressive view but it is a short drive to the beach.

Wonderful stay! This place was amazing. The view was incredible. The host was amazing to work with and arranged easy transfers when needed. We even got stuck one night late on the other side of the island and the host sent us a taxi at midnight. If you get the chance to stay here, make sure you give the bathroom at check in a try..
