This is a place where they’ve got you covered. The things you think about plus the things you don’t. The staff is incredibly responsive, always available (even by texting from your pool lounger or away from the hotel). The hotel is impeccably maintained — and I mean perfect everywhere. The food is very thoughtfully created. And then the all-important bed and bath — I slept like a baby and didn’t want my shower to end. The location of the hotel is unbeatable. It’s one block off of Main Street, but just a 2 minute walk from the front door. So things stay quiet and low key. And, still, there’s no need to summon your car (although they are really quick at doing that whenever you need). It would have been tempting to stay at one of the larger hotels — with their spas and bars and such. And, in fact, I considered it. But I think those miss out on the charm that is Park City. I could tell when we went for lunch at the St. Regis; those folks didn’t seem nearly as pleased with their experience as I was. So do yourself a favor: stay in town, and stay here.

Second time at this property and it was as good as I had remembered it (if not better!). So many good things to say: - Centrally located: A block away from Main Street where all the restaurants/bars/shops are. - The property itself is absolutely lovely: A converted School House with all the nooks and crannies and all the charms you can think of (and then some!). The vibe is one of serenity and calm. The living room with the roaring fire is stunningly beautiful. I spend a lot of time there - either for breakfast, après or simply with my laptop. - Rooms: I stayed in the Pool King Room (also the same room I stayed at during my first visit). Really like the room as you can see the pool (in the summer) and a nice view of the snowy landscape (in the winter). Also obviously easy access to the heated pool and the hot tub! - Service is unparralleled: for a boutique hotel, WSH has a relatively large team that make sure that all their guests are attended to. Nothing is too much for them - in fact, I'd go as far as saying they are so attentive to their guests' needs that they give a new meaning to "personalised service". The text messaging is instant and allows you to communicate with them even when you're not at the property. The ski lounge and ski valet service is top drawer! Every morning, you'll find all your ski gear waiting for you in the ski lounge. And...even after a hearty breakfast, they still stock you up with snickers, water and other snacks together with hand and toe warmers for your day up on the mountain. Just let them know where you want to ski and they'll drop you off at the base. And when you're done for the day, they'll come and pick you up wherever you are. Again - just text them and you'll get an immediate response. Most importantly, the entire team make me feel as if I'm "at home". Either it's Matt, the GM, or Austin, the ski valet, everyone is utterly professional - yet friendly, approachable, down-to-earth and exudes genuine warmth that is missing from some of the big brands. Thank you WSH for your hospitality. I shall be back!

Stayed here in the Summer so did not experience their Winter ski concierge service that is probably first rate (shout out to Austin - Go Beavs!). Great breakfast selection and evening charcuterie board are all complimentary, as well as a nice complementary selection of beer, wines and cocktails available anytime throughout the day. With only 12 rooms, I suppose the property could be labeled a high end bed and breakfast as one reviewer suggested, but it’s so much more than that! The 24-7 concierge is more like a personal butler service and the heated pool & spa hewn into the hill behind this National Historic registered property puts it well beyond a B&B experience. Well appointed rooms with high-end toiletries. The bed linens are Italian and so wonderful my wife tracked down the manufacturer and ordered a set for our home. The property is also accepting of well-behaved pets (shout out to Enzo - pictured). We look forward to visiting this unique property in the Winter to enjoy the several ski resorts close by. Just one word of advice: although you can find the room sizes on the hotel’s website, I strongly recommend booking your stay by calling the hotel, and not through the website. Some rooms are cozy small, and may not meet your expectations. Best to discuss these matters with hotel staff before confirming your reservation.

Summer may not be the time of year that most will travel to Park City and this hotel -HOWEVER, in my opinion as this hotel is set up - I believe the winter experience and this hotel would be an excellent choice. The staff are incredibly kind and competent. The interior of the hotel is beautiful and welcoming. Bed, Bath and Linens provided = excellent! The provided drinks, snacks and breakfast = excellent. The location for me was great to go onto Main St for shopping and meals. Book it and enjoy!

I had the fortune of staying at the Washington School House Hotel for a 3-day end-of-season ski trip. WSH is a truly exceptional and unique hotel. The service was personal and impeccable - from morning coffee and breakfast to the ski valet to/from the ski resort to afternoon and evening drinks and charcuterie to the top floor pool and hot tub. And everything is included! You feel like a guest, not a customer. I will definitely return. Tip: Call to book your room and talk through your itinerary. The hotel includes several services including transportation in the room rate. They’ll take care of whatever you need.

My wife and I stayed here for a husband-wife trip, and we really loved it. The staff was beyond friendly, and helpful. They shuttled us around in a brand new Denali, moved and stored our skiies each day, and delivered drinks and coffee to our room throughout the day. The place is very charming, the beds were great, the hot tub outside in the snow was amazing. Overall, the place is one of the nicest places I have ever stayed.
