Avanti Holiday Village

i have nothing bad to say - location- brilliant- staff - wonderful- food - gorgeous- room spacious and spotless! Would I go again, yes ! Would I stay at the Avanti - I wouldn’t stay anywhere else! ❤️

We stayed here during October half term and the hotel was not too busy. Not sure if that was due to low occupancy or because people just use it as a base. We chose this hotel mainly due to kids getting 2 proper beds rather than sharing a sofa bed. All beds were very comfy and rooms were very large but quite dated and were not particularly clean (floors were very dirty). The pool is the star here even if a little cold at end of season. Lots of loungers but also lots of shade this late in the year so if you want sun all day, you need to be selective where you sit. I would imagine in summer that shade is very welcome! Pool bar was reasonably priced and swim up bar a nice touch. We chose to upgrade to Bed and breakfast on arrival as you save a few £ opposed to booking via jet 2. Food was good and ok for few days but a bit limited in selection. You can buy 3 day vouchers or just pay as you go which was a nice option. Staff were super friendly and very helpful in reception, restaurant and bar. we didn’t stay in the hotel in the evening but heard it was very quiet, most people choosing to go to one of the 2 bars in the plaza one of which showed football. 20 minute walk to town or bus every 15 minutes and a few mini markets near by so you could do more self catering but nearest supermarket is a 20 to 30 minute walk. We hired a car from camel cars via the hotel. Be careful if you do as the collision waiver insurance is not included despite what we were told and it was very expensive. Personally I would use one of the other hire companies or camel directly so think you could get a better deal. Also top tip buy collision waiver insurance online from uk for about £5 not €50 in resort. Overall a nice little village with a great pool and possibly 4. Star back in the day. Today, it’s a little tired so more 3 star. We enjoyed our visit but I doubt I would choose to return.

We all had a fantastic holiday here. We were travelling as a family with our 20 and 10 year old sons. We had 2 apartments with an adjoining door, which worked perfectly. The apartments were clean and well serviced. We had an issue with hot water, but it got sorted as soon as reported. They provide towels to take to the pool or beach. The entertainment team are amazing and really made our holiday. Kristy was amazing and really made my older son feel included. She has such an energy about her that greats an amazing atmosphere around the pool! Really made all the difference. A special thankyou to Kristy. The coastal walk took about 35 mins to the harbour and is lovely. A few mins walk down a pedestrian lane takes you to the beach. Hired a car via the reception for 2 days for £85, Bus service very close. I don't say this often, but would definitely return for another visit

This was our second stay at Avanti and it was slightly disappointing. The good things were that the rooms are spacious, the beds are very comfy and the kitchen is well equipped. The hotel is near to a lovely beach ‘lagoon beach’ with excellent swimming and lovely ice cream from Rambos ice cream van. There are a couple of good supermarkets nearby and Lidl a short drive away if you have a car. The bar is very cheap. There are a couple of good restaurants in walking distance particularly Namaste Indian street food and Rimini. The breakfast is good value at 12 euros for adults and 6 for children with a good selection of bread cereals fruit cooked items including omelettes and pancakes. The bad things are that firstly and foremost the swimming pool was absolutely freezing. Not at all comfortable to swim in hence why we ended up going to the beach everyday. Also getting a sun bed was near on impossible unless you were up at 8 with a towel. The accommodation is run down with a rusty bath and broken bin in the loo. No toiletries provided apart from some hand soap and no cloth or washing up liquid in the kitchen. For a 4 star rating this would be expected. The area near the hotel is very run down and in parts derelict. It’s a 45 minute walk to the harbour but there are frequent buses which are cheap enough. Taxis however are very expensive. 15 euros to the harbour. I would not return to this hotel unfortunately as an unusable pool is a deal breaker for us. I would however return to Paphos but try a different area such as Coral Bay

The Avanti village offers everything you would need for a relaxing holiday. There is a beach within walking distance (a few hundred meters) the apartments here are clean, comfortable and relatively private. The staff are welcoming and very pleasant. I would like to mention the restaurant manager who is fantastic and very very helpful. Breakfast is basic but offers great food from egg and bacon to continental and greek. Please bear in mind this is not a 5 * hotel but a family orientated holiday hotel. Bars are great and competitively priced. We love this place.

This place will always remain special to us because of everything that Avanti Village do for us even before we arrive We have been here this time for a family wedding at another hotel. We always stay here as the location suits us all. There were 12 family members staying this time and all want to come back which means a lot to us The staff are super helpful including Zoe (office manager) Vagia on the reception desk and Maintenance staff for putting on the air con in the gym every morning for me 😍 The cleaners are tip top with cleaning apart from Monday and Thursday but still empty bins. The pool area is large with swim up pool bar with plentiful of drinks. I didn’t eat there as I’m Keto so I made my own choices elsewhere. I have to say Vagia went to a local supermarket just to get my double cream I needed, that’s beyond expectations 🤩 The local Fiesta Bar at the back of the apartments was exactly the same as it was last time, tasty not expensive food. Service was excellent and they recognised us too. The mini market was gone to the right of the main road so we used the one on the left of main road which had fresh bread and all necessities I used the supermarket at the harbour for more variety as we hired a car Definitely had so much more choice It has non food upstairs too We used the sunbeds at the beach which have a more pleasant atmosphere, very clean and quiet Cannot wait to come back in 2027 It’s not goodbye it’s until we meet again Thank you Thank you And thank you Avanti Village 🙏🏽
