Since we turned up we fell in love with the place, paula is so welcoming 🙏 and she cannot do enough for you. Since the word go she works so hard to keep everyone happy at the b n b. The rooms are great, the breakfasts are spot on. The WiFi is good for the family and its comes with the price as a nice touch. 👌. Our stay was so enjoyable I cannot recommend barton gate b and b enough. Id give it a 6 put 5 if I could. Please book without hesitation

Booked here as I didn't want to stay in a commercial hotel. As soon as I pulled up, I knew I had made the right decision. Absolutely beautiful setting, so tranquil. Paula, the host, made us feel welcome, right from the start. Continental breakfast is included and plentiful. If you want a cooked breakfast, it's a little extra. Our room was spotless, bright, and airy. The beds were comfortable and lovely bedding. En suite with a bath and shower over! Tea coffee making facilities plus a fridge, microwave,toaster plus all the crockery needed. We ended up staying 2 nights instead of just the 1. All in all. A fantastic host and a fantastic stay.

Barton gate farm was a great find when searching for family holiday. Had a triple room,plenty of storage although we lived out of suitcases. Beds very comfortable, a kitchenette if you wanted to self cater. Breakfast was a great start to the day, lovely fresh cooked breakfast or a continental. Lots of grounds to explore, daughter had fun feeding the fish. Lots of out door sitting to spend a lazy evening sipping wine. 10 minutes from beaches at bude get place to spend a day. Lots of local places to visit and eat. A must visit to the waterfalls at St Nectan. Thank you Paula for a great 8 days stressfree holiday. See you next year.

Just returned from a 2 night stay at Barton Gate and regret not booking longer. Paula is a great host, very accommodating and friendly. Rooms are spacious and feel very homely, beds are comfortable one of the best nights sleep I've had in ages, rooms are also spotlessly clean. Despite being on a main road it was extremely quiet. Breakfast is your typical continental however paying for something cooked is well worth it! There is a games room on site, great if you have kids it kept our little one entertained in the evening. Located 1 minute from the Cornwall border makes it convenient to visit local places and not far from historic sites. We had a fabulous stay and feel sad to be home but will definitely be booking again. Barton Gate is truly a gem.

We have just spent 9 nights as a family of four at Barton Gate Farm and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Paula was exceptionally welcoming and accommodated the family. Our room was well presented and cleaned every day. ContinentAl breakfast was perfect. A nice selection of fruit, cereal, pastries, toast etc. Cooked breakfast was a reasonable price. my husband enjoyed it (he mentioned the fried bread was good :) ) A nice touch were the animals. My three year old loved looking At the goats and feeding the fish in the morning. Friendly services all round. We wouldn’t think twice about returning. Hoping to be back soon.

Took my two young girls away for a last minute break in half term. Safe to say we had the best time! Paula is absolutely lovely and makes the best scrambled eggs and her fried bread is apparently soooo good it tastes like doughnuts according the the littlest one! We felt very comfortable and welcome. Me and my girls had a fab time, we felt comfortable and safe. The room was lovely and just perfect for the 3 of us. The the wet room was a massive hit with the kids. The bed was super comfortable, probably the best sleep I’ve had in a while. Close to all things absolutely beautiful. We love it so much we’re already booked to go back in the summer
