Talavera Palm Springs

We loved how quiet and tranquil the beautiful lush green and flowers everywhere. The view of the mountains was phenomenal. The floor fire pit was a nice touch in the morning and evening. Great music at the pool. The casita was comfortable but one suggestion which we would have enjoyed is a tv in our bedroom. Everything else was perfect! We will be back!

It was very quiet peaceful easily accessible everything was in walking distance. The private jacuzzi was a huge plus. A hotel stay has never been so easy.And that's the way it should be and I will definitely be back.

What an incredible find! Quiet, private, secluded and absolutely gorgeous. So relaxing! The pools are warm and inviting and what a treat to have your own hot tub and patio! The setting is lovely, with palm trees and flowers, and the staff couldn’t be more friendly and accommodating. The rooms are decorated in unique, luxurious ways, and there are so many amenities available. Although you know there must be other guests, Talavera always maintains an amazingly tranquil atmosphere—you feel as if you’re the only ones there.

Very quiet, private, beautiful place. Convient parking. Everything is very close unlike the usual big hotel. Walking distance for everything and enjoyed the bicycles. Definitely loved the private jacuzzi. Had a wonderful time and will be back for sure.

The Talavera was amazing!!! From the grounds, rooms, and all the wonderful people! It was so peaceful, the entire pool areas are so beautiful and well maintained. I cannot say enough about our Talavera Palm Springs experience. Thank you, thank you!!

Hidden gem with friendly staff. Walkable to great restaurants in downtown Palm Springs. Highly recommend.

This place is a hidden gem! My husband & loved this oasis.. so romantic.. comfortable.. relaxing! Staff was amazing & attentive! Can’t wait to go back! The jacuzzi was fabulous! There were rose petals & delicious fruit tart waiting upon our arrival.. plus champagne! 🍾

This place is lovely and restful: flowers, rooms, pool. Delicious morning coffee. Hotel staff helpful and friendly and the check in and out flexible. It is also close to restaurants and downtown within walking distance! This is perfect for couples as well as friends needing respite from day of hiking.

This hotel is definitely one of a kind. Some people prefer cookie cutter hotel rooms with "matchy matchy" furniture, which you can find at a variety of price points. The Talavera is rather bohemian, with an Indonesian flavor. We absolutely loved its unique charm, even if not all the furniture was in perfect condition. You feel like you have entered an oasis when you walk through the gate. The outdoor common areas are lovely and tranquil, with a nice view of the mountains. Our suite had a cozy sofa, a kitchenette, a lovely patio with hot tub, and a very comfortable bed. The TV situation has been described by other reviewers; I'll note that 3 of the 4 hotels I stayed in on this trip to Southern California had only streaming services and no broadcast TV. I really dislike this as I like watching local news when I travel, but it seems to be a trend--so bring your passwords! Finally, the Talavera has easy parking and is walkable to downtown Palm Springs. I look forward to another stay in the near future!
