River View Resort Pahalgam

Unfortunately, my experience at The Riverwalk Resort in Pahalgam fell short of expectations. While the location by the river is undeniably beautiful, the overall service and maintenance of the property were disappointing. We had book three rooms. The rooms and toilets lacked cleanliness and basic amenities were either missing or not functioning properly. Even though there were separate faucets for hot and cold water, only one faucet was used to dispense hot water and latrine flush was not working properly. Staff response was slow and unprofessional at times, which made the stay feel frustrating rather than relaxing. For the price charged, the quality of food and hospitality did not match the standards one would expect from a resort in such a prime tourist destination. They should more attention to timely refills in buffet. With some improvements in service, cleanliness, and guest care, this place could truly live up to its potential—but as of now, I would hesitate to recommend it.

Undoubtedly the best place to stay in Pahalgam. The staff was very friendly, extremely helpful and always had smiles on their faces. Rooms are beautiful, huge and spotless clean. The one i got had an amazing view of the hills and the river. Food was delicious. They have buffet system, everyday the menu changes with the variety of food. Owner Showkat will go out of his way to make sure that your stay is comfortable. The best part of the property is the beautifully maintained garden. We sat there for long time. It was so peaceful and serene sitting there and looking at the river. Must stay place whenever you are in Pahalgam. Highly Highly recommended. Cant wait to go back:)

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at River View Resort. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The ambiance of the hotel was truly stunning, with a serene and relaxing atmosphere. One of the highlights of my stay was the easy access to the river, mountain & clouds. The scenic views were breathtaking from the window of my room. The lawn of this resort is beautifully organized and was a perfect spot to enjoy the nature. The hotel's housing facilities were top-notch, providing comfortable and well-maintained accommodations. The buffet food was delicious and offered a wide variety of options. The flavors were well-balanced, and the spice level was just right. Overall, my experience was exceptional and definitely memorable.
