The location is right on the waters edge, with the perfect day beds to enjoy the ocean front. The room is very generous in size, although we had ongoing issues with the airconditioning and it may be an Aussie thing - but no iron and only the option to wait 24 hrs for “laundry” if you needed anything pressed as it’s deemed a “health issue” to have one in the room. (Not ideal when you’re living out of a suitcase.) The Hotel prides itself on ‘being green’, but it just felt like that was an excuse to cut corners on the what they offer. The bikes on offer - were more like they were picked up from a thrift shop - but worked for a morning to travel a little further around the corner. Be sure to enjoy the insane sunsets!

Highly recommended this hotel if visiting this area. It's a 4☆ but worthy of the 5. Stayed here for 10 days in total. Very clean rooms that are cleaned daily,comfy beds and lovely sea views(upgrade). Staff are very friendly and nothing is too much for them.The pools are lovely,especially the smaller heated jacuzzi pool. Food is very good also. Alessandro and Anna on the reception desk are very helpful. More than happy with my stay a d if I was to return this is the hotel I will be booking. 10/10.

Stayed for four nights as part of a group. Great location overlooking the sea. Very friendly staff,, Very good room with balcony and sea view. Very good food and dining room including an alfresco balcony. An easy stroll to the village with its shops and small sandy beach.

We spent a wonderful week at the Grand Hotel Riviera 18th -＞ 25th April. The hotel has beautiful views over the sea, modern rooms and excellent amenities including a spa. The staff were excellent throughout - friendly, helpful and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure we had a perfect trip. Particular impressed with Alessandro for arranging car hire (including transport to and from the rental shop) for us at the last minute. We also really appreciated the free rental bikes and our gentle cycles down the coast to the beautiful sandy beaches of Lido Conchiglie.

This is without one of the best hotels we have stayed in. The point of difference about this hotel is the excellent customer service from all of the staff. The manager Simone is always present, talking to guests to ensure they are happy. He is a real gentleman. Also special mention to Alessandro on reception. Check is was quick and efficient but importantly everything was explained to us. The hotel is spotless throughout. The cleaning staff work tirelessly. Rooms are cleaned twice a day. Breakfast consists of pastries, fruits, cooked items, fresh breads, cereals and salads. Oh and fresh orange juice which is squeezed in front of you. Dinner is served a la carte and you get a starter, a main course, a second course and desert. You also can have antipasti at the start. Each course consists of either a fish, meat or vegetable dish. The food was excellent and authentic. The hotel has a great swimming pool with a life guard. Also has a terrace on the front overlooking the sea where you can sun bathe. Never had a problem with getting sun beds. The room we stayed in (324) was spacious and had a sea view. Super comfy bed, great shower and toiletries are provided. The hotel has a deal with a local beach at Gallipoli. We paid €22 for 2 beds and a parasol. Fantastic beach and free shuttle to and from the hotel. The hotel offers various excursions. We hired a car from a car rental just 2 mins up the road. I would recommend hiring a car to explore Puglia. Overall a wonderful stay at this fabulous hotel. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. We will definitely return. The hotel was absolutely beautiful, the reception staff were amazing, so polite and helpful, especially Giangiorgio, Alessandro and Federica. The manager Simone was exceptional, always present making sure his guests are happy, he even took the time to take 8 of us to the water park nearby as there was no transport! The hotel is spotlessly clean and well kept, located between Santa Maria al Bagno and Santa Catarina, both beautiful with different experiences. We would definitely come back again along with family and friends!
