I was accommodated at Wadham by my employer for six weeks as a teacher in a summer school. The staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. The accommodation - in a single student room - was modern, comfortable and very clean. As a working environment, it was idyllic - my own classroom was formerly occupied by Daniel Day-Lewis' father when he was a don there. Breakfast and dinner were nutritious and usually delicious. The gardens were beautifullly maintained, and it was a regular pleasure to enjoy them with magpies, frolicking squirrels and a fox. I'd happily pay the reasonable price charged to guests for B and B if I ever came to Oxford as a visitor - it's good value, great quality, and financially supporting a world class education facility.
