Located on the outskirts of Oudtshoorn on a working farm.. very relaxed atmosphere.. We stayed at the beautiful, well-appointed stone cottages about 5 min drive from the main lodge. The 3 cottages share a pool. Perfect to explore the region and do the meerkat excursion. We enjoyed dinner - best ostrich streak had in a long time.

We took our 4 grandchildren to De Zeekoe for 2 nights and loved every minute. Theo and his team were amazing and the food is so well prepared and served by a great team of friendly staff. Nothing is too much trouble. This small guest hotel is situated looking out over the Outdshoorn farmland and mountains. Do not miss the Meerkat experience… this you will never forget!

Beautiful place, beautiful details and amazing staff. The room was amazing and perfectly clean and tidy, they have a restaurant where you can enjoy traditional meals. It's completely surrounded by nature but easy to fino, they organize a lot of activities you can join.

What an overall wonderful place to unwind, the venue and rooms are stunning, the staff is very professional, and the food is great. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are neat, and the views are scenic. I would recommend this place every day if you are staying out in the Klein Karoo.

Sadly left De Zeekoe Guest farm, which is delightful and would highly recommend. Stayed 2 nights as we’re touring, arrived and were quickly shown to a beautiful room but asked if we could swap for a room with a view over the planes and the mountains, we were happy to pay extra but were given free of charge with no trouble at all. We decided to eat both nights at the hotel so we could sample the gorgeous wines and had smoked salmon to start which was the best I’ve ever had (honestly!) so tasty and not greasy like some, followed by ostrich steak .. I asked for fruit for dessert as wasn’t on the menu and again no trouble at all, the staff couldn’t be more helpful! Breakfast was delicious and freshly made with plenty of choice. We did the nearby Ostrich show farm which was both fun and informative!! Highly recommend

Apart from them trying to put us in a horrible room when we had booked a luxury room it was a nice break . After complaining about the room they did give us the room we had booked . There is a lack of management !!! The latest you can order you food is 7:30 we ordered the cheese for 2 people as a dessert when we booked our dinner in the morning. But after waiting we then asked where it was and there seemed to be so much confusion about it we did receive in the end . I think if there was someone in charge it would help . The farm is beautiful & the room we booked was lovely with a beautiful balcony Lovely pool and grounds Unfortunately I tried to book the meerkat experience but was told I had to go with our driver and our driver was not coming back until we left , I did ask do you have anyone who I could pay to take me & was told NO . I asked if there was a service I could book got told NO !!! We enjoyed our stay but feel with a manager the farm could run a lot better .
