Nestled the peaceful setting of the Andean mountains, Las Palmeras truly felt like home with its tranquil environment. The perfect place where families can reconnect and create lasting memories. Every meal was a delight, with fresh ingredients sourced straight from their own garden. You could taste the care and quality in every bite, making each dining experience something to look forward to. The service was impeccable — warm, attentive, and thoughtful without being intrusive. Every staff member made us feel at home, and it was clear they took pride in making our stay perfect. In the evenings, we found ourselves gathered around the beautiful fireplace, the ideal spot to unwind during those cool, serene nights. If you’re looking for a place where you can relax, enjoy amazing food, and truly connect with your loved ones, this hotel is everything you could wish for. We can’t wait to repeat the experience soon!

Such a neat and relaxing spot with great proximity to Otovalo. Otavalo was great for shopping (Saturday market is a must see), great food, and safe. The inn was a retreat from it all surrounded by llamas, a garden (where you can pick your dinner), and the most friendly greeters (two pups) that welcome you to the oasis.

We escaped the Texas heat to this idyllic boutique hotel to share the wonders of the Andes with family. Las Palmeras provided the relaxing setting, delicious meals, warm fires, resident llamas and the friendliest staff while we explored Cuyacocha volcano, Hacienda Zuleta, local hot springs, Quechua cooking class and of course the vibrant indigenous market in Otavalo.

What a great hacienda is las Palmeras just like his owner. Unfortunatelly we were here for only one night but it definitly is a place to stay longer and enjoy the the gastronomy of this place! The onwner gave us a very warm welcome and showed us around the old guineapig farm an trough the vedgeteble garden in which we were able to pick our own tea! If you are in the area of visit the Otavalo market on saturdays you should definitly stay for minimum one night at las palmeras!

I highly recommend this place! The staff is super nice, the food is delicious, and the grounds are beautiful. I went with a group as part of a study abroad program. Only downside is the WiFi isn’t super fast and in some places doesn’t work the best, but that wasn’t a problem for me!

This is the second time we have stayed here. It is in the hills by of Otavalo and a lovely quiet area. The grounds are beautiful quiet, serene. The fire is all set in your fireplace when you return from a fabulous dinner. And the hot water bottles to warm your feet for the night, are placed in your bed. I love that part!
