마세리아 산토 스칼로네(Masseria Santo Scalone)

We travelled as a party of 3, with 2 rooms booked. One room was a Junior suite (room no.14) and the other a Privilege room (room no.6). Both were lovely rooms with lots of character and comfortable beds, powerful walk-in showers, and with great bed linen. All the staff were naturally friendly, helpful and always had a smile and a pleasant manner. The breakfasts were plentiful, with fresh croissants, pastry’s, good yogurt and fruit, and a nice focaccia topped with sun-dried tomato and olives each day separately accompanied by ham, burrata, nice local cheese, etc, plus great coffee. We ate in the restaurant most nights and the menu, while a little limited, certainly had enough to keep us happy each night. One evening we asked if we could have some cold cuts and cheese and bread, earlier than the normal dinner time, and this was provided at short notice and was much appreciated. It made a nice change to the normal dinner, especially as the dinner time only started at 7.30pm. There is a nice pool and comfortable sun beds at the site. There are, apparently, plans to open a spa in the next 12 months. My only suggestion is that they arrange for the patio lights, on all night outside each room, to be controlled from within the room. We found the light that came into our room to be particularly bright when trying to sleep. All in all, however, we really liked our time at this Masseria and can highly recommend it. We will definitely go back.

I loved everything in this hotel! the grounds, the room, the stuff, the location, breakfast of fruits, vegetables, eggs, excellent baked good, coffee, tea, all to order. Interesting dinner menu, all served in beautiful settings. Stuffed walked out to welcome us and were very helpful.

Cozy yet spacious and elegant maseria with great and always helpful staff. Junior suite was excellent. Breakfast was very good while lunch and dinner kitchen needs an upgrade. Great terras and swimming pool with beds etc. Plenty to do and see in the neighborhood.

The hotel property is nice but far removed from the main Ostuni area. This adds on another 20 or so minutes to the drive. The hotel staff is very friendly however there are tons of bugs on property. This might be normal for the area but the room was not throughly cleaned until our second to last day noticeable because there were bugs on the ground. They ended up charging us for the ‘welcome drink’ as well. Room and lobby area are nice and the pool area is very nice as well.

Beautiful setting. The room was clean, immaculate and gorgeous. The food was very tasty and the staff were so attentive. The pool was relaxing and clean. The lemon trees and the olive trees were beautiful. Overall it was a lovely place to stay.

We can't say enough positive things about this masseria! Everything was fantatic! The room was beautiful and comfortable for our family of three, the breakfast was fantastic, and the pool and grounds a joy to explore. They have everything you need to relax and enjoy Italy at its finest. The staff was phenomenal; they went the extra mile every time. So helpful and friendly. They have set the bar very high for all our future hotel experiences.

No matter how great I describe the Masseria, it will not do it justice! The rooms are spacious, comfortable and give you a feeling of being at home. And it was all so incredibly clean and tidy. The Masseria itself is incredibly beautiful and has a lot to offer with its pool, restaurant and surrounding areas. We can only imagine how much better it would have been to stay there during the summer season! The restaurant offers delicious food that tastes of Italy. The breakfast is abundant with a rich variety and plenty of options for everyone. But the best part is the people of the Masseria - the entire team working there is so friendly, warm and incredible. They welcome you with open arms and open hearts and would do all they can to make your stay even better. By the time you leave, you will feel them like family. We have not really experienced that leaving other accommodations, but my wife and I were actually quite sad to be leaving this place.

My wife and I had four wonderful nights at Masseria Santa Scalone. Beautifully restored and perfectly situated to visit Ostuni and the surrounding area. Special mention must go to all the team at reception who made our stay incredibly easy and enjoyable. No request was too difficult.

This is a special attraction. We were based here and visited a few of the attractions close by. The rooms and amenities are fabulous. Food is exceptional. Service and help is great and people are friendly
