그랜드 호텔 마세리아 산타루치아

Very disappointing. We booked a 4* after a string of Airbnb as a treat. We were allocated a room in a concrete single storey block that smelt damp and was definitely not even close to 4* accommodation. We were moved to one in the opposite block. Still poor but at least it didn’t smell. The noise from either side plumbing was horrendous made worse only by the fact the cleaners started at 7.30 am on the Sunday!! We were eventually loved to a room in the main block which looked much better and more like a hotel but an out of date holiday camp. However air con didn’t work and there’s no maintenance guy at weekend! Temp in room Was 27 degrees. They told us to sleep with the window open! Luckily someone else checked out early and we were moved to our 4th room (in a 2 night stay) which was nice. If you are considering this hotel a few important points - make sure you are guaranteed a room in the main building if you want anything like hotel quality. Unless you are planning not to leave hotel at all (or full board) you will need a car. There’s nowhere within walking distance. Ostuni a 15 min drive and is nice. The pool area is lovely and you can walk down the path to the sea (do t look at all the old furniture and rubbish dumped I assume by the hotel on the side of the path) and that’s quite nice. It’s not a sandy beach - just a small grass area with steps over the rocks to the sea. Food was good but it’s a set meal so doesn’t feel like eating out. Staff at reception were mixed some Helpful and understanding - others the opposite. I would not in all honesty recommend this place to anyone.

Una buona soluzione si si vuole abbinare una location di qualità, il mare, la tranquillità ed un corretto equilibrio fra ospiti e ampiezza della tenuta. Non ho provato il ristorante, la colazione è invece molto buona. Dolce (tutti fatti in casa) e salato con ottimi formaggi freschi (ricotta) e mozzarelline fantastiche. Camere pulite, possibilità di due campi da tennis, palestra, SPA, piscina e bar per il dopo cena. Lo consiglio. Target di clientela medio alto, poco frequentato dai giovani(certamente per via dei costi… non accessibili a tutti).
