로츠호텔렛

This is the kind of stay where you feel tempted to give the hosts a big hug upon checking out:-) We spend 3 nights at this small hotel, in a proportional combination of wind, rain and sun. Regardless of the weather, this was a fantastic stay, with Mila & Klas taking utmost care of their guests. Morning coffe at the "Brygge" was amazing and so was the sauna and dip in the ocean. Highly recommendable.

We had the most amazing holiday arranged by Klas from Lotshotellet. He met us in his boat Granit at the boat dock in Gothenburg and looked after us for an amazing 6 days. We stayed one night at The Grand on Marstrand, one night at Salt&Sill on Kladesholmen and 3 nights at Lotshotellet. During the day we had many adventures walking on the rocky islands, swimming, visiting and climbing lighthouses, seal watching, swimming with the seals, visiting the Sculpture park at Pilane and the Nordic Watercolour museum at Skarhamn and visiting the archipelago on Klas' boat fuelled ecologically by chip fat!! We ate at fantastic restaurants all arranged by Klas. We felt very lucky to visit places that we wouldn't normally have known about. There was amazing fresh sea food and fantastic views. We were a family group of two parents in their 50s and kids 22, 20 and 17. A very active and fun holiday enjoyed by us all. Lotshotellet was just lovely. A small 6 room hotel, that is beautifully presented and very luxurious, very comfortable, elegant rooms, with amazing views. Eating breakfast on the boat dock was amazing. Klas and Milla and their team were excellent hosts.

We were delighted by our entire experience at Lotshotellet! From the beginning, Milla and Klous were very communicative with all the details we need to know as far as getting to and from the island, additional amenities and what to expect. We stayed in the most delightful room that overlooked the water, enjoyed all the friendly guests at breakfast and the summer workers were extremely helpful and friendly! The breakfast spread was delicious and once again exceeded our expectations. We loved the Sauna and would recommend that to anyone staying here! It was the perfect, quiet escape for us :)

This was a wonderful place to escape for a few days without driving to recover from jet lag. As our stay was over Midsummer, our hosts invited us to join in the island's traditional parade and festivities, which was great fun! Our private balcony was the perfect place to soak in the late afternoon sun after a dip in the North Sea. Great restaurants and shops were a short walk away. In one word, Lotshotellet is idyllic!

Beautiful and charming island property, exactly what we had hoped for. The owners were so friendly and made us feel very welcome and we were well looked after. Sadly the weather wasn’t the best but it hasn’t stopped us from wanting to come back and take advantage of the tours they offer!

All in all this is a perfect experience. The setup is highly professional. The rooms are very charming and also romantic. Nice and clean, goes without saying. The breakfast has a variation to everyones taste. The crepes restaurant is superb. The hotel can also offer dinner if you give them some time for setting it up. The hotel offers several outdoor activities of which The Axman enjoyed the boat trip into the archipelago. In addition to this you have the owners and staff. They will let you alone if that is what you wish or they take part in a friendly chat. They are always willing to do the extra!!!
