포탈 카파도키아 호텔(Portal Cappadocia Hotel)

We stayed in portal on 3 not consecutive nights in different room types . Standard room was most comfy and cost , this room faces the patio. Bathroom is very spacious and all necessary amenities have been provided . ( just the hairdryer can be updated ). The highlight of the hotel is definitely its location close to the sightseeing spots and the great view to the cave mountain!! Also we tried a room with the Mountain View , which was also very spacious and with jacuzzi in bathroom . However for this time of the year it turned out to be a bit cold for us. So we preferred to take a standard room on our last night. The breakfast was fine , in winter time mostly Turkish style breakfast is offered in the hotels in cappadacia area . The staff was very efficient and friendly . Kadir bey from the restaurant was very kind and fried for us delicious eggs with sausages. The cleanliness is also very good. The decoration and design of the cave rooms was very welcoming and warm. Thank you very much! We will recommend all our friends to stay at Portal Hotel !

On the day we left spoke to the cleaner about where I put my door key as she told me not to lock it so I showed her I placed it on the dresser near door, only to be chased 5/6 times by the reception girl about the key!!.running up and down and constantly asking same crap over and over. I was told it wasn't there and the cleaner told her I went back in after after??? Which I didnt .. And that the key wasn't there..as we left she chased the car about the key AGAIN and the woman owner partner came and told us we have to pay as unique key and she is looking to see how much to charge!! I repeated many a time about the key and cleaner, even emptying my hand bag and all cases (there was 9 of us ) as they didn't believe me they believed her.. we had to stay and wait about 45 mins while the owner woman told us to pay ...which would probably of been a large price...my husband went down to look and found the key outside a different room where the cleaners wash bags where, SO SHE MOVED IT and I was made to feel like a thief which ruin whole experience!!! And then it was just "o im so sorry" SORRY is NOT good enough!!! WHAT WOULD I DO WITH A BLOODY KEY.. they could of got the cleaner and let her say infront of us about her version of events but NO she was no where to be seen.. I actually liked that lady and was going to leave her a very big tip!! Now my tip is .. DONT LIE JUST BLOODY LOOK WHAT YOUR DOING!!" ...when we was there we was talking about booking the Whole hotel and next door for TWO weddings....well thats not going to happen now is it ...DO NOT ACCUSE SOMEONE WITHOUT 100% proof...infact check your cameras theres one right outside my door where I spoke to the cleaner!!! ...Great place but just watch your back!!! And dont trust anyone with a smile Also i paid for castle view room but not actually a castle view at all...2 small window and need to look to the side very hard to see ( shown in pic ) I paid and booked 2x standard 1x "Castle view" and 1 cave room ..we then paid another £140 to add 2 more for another room...and they tried to put the 1 extra adult and 1 child into each of the 2 standard rooms on a sofa bed ...so charged more than the price of the whole room for 2 ( the standard was €61 on here)and tried to put in them the other rooms as add ons untill my hubby (turk) said no thats for a separate room ..which they then did but after charging more than double ***********...o also the pool is a TINY freezing infinity pool that you have to book to go to ...parking ???? There is no parking just a couple of spaces for cars park just out front....

Thanks to hotel staff make our journey Soo pleasant.the hotel situated best part of ortahisar the silence of the quite can be extraordinary experience.the rooms very highly decorated the breakfast made by BEST CHEF sooo tasty highly recommended to all visitors to Cappadocia the rates are very fair.will revisit thanks alot LOVE IT

Herşeyi ile çok iyi bir yer olan, gösterdikleri ilgi ve alaka ile mest eden, kahvaltısı güzel, çalışanları güler yüzlü olan çok şahane bir yer. Bölgede konaklayabileceğiniz bana göre en güzel yer.Konum itibariyle bölgenin her tarafına kolayca ulaşım sağlayabileceğiniz bir yer.

Ürgüp'ün 5 km batısında ve Nevşehir yolu yakınındadır. 1916 yılında kasaba olmuştur. Doğal güzellikleri ve tarihsel özellikleriyle ilgi çekici bir kasabadır. Kavak, İbrahim Paşa ve Ortahisar'ın içinde yer aldığı vadi Damsa çayı vadisine ulaşır. Bu vadinin Damsa çayı yakınları Üzengi deresi adını alır. Doğal özellikleri içme suyu, maden suları olan bir yerdir. Ortahisarın ortasında dev bir peri bacası olan bir kale vardır. Bu kaleye yabancılar şato da derler. İçi oyuktur. Oda ve salonlar vardır. Tepesine çıkmak zor ise de oradan görülen çevre güzelliği yorgunlukları gideridir. Ayrıca kasabanın çevresinde de pek çok kilise vardır. Talaş deresi bu bakımdan çok ilgi çeker. Orta hisarda evler kaleye doğru basmak basamak yükselir. Son yıllarda Nevşehir yoluna doğru düzlükte yeni doğal karakteristik yapıya uygun renkli kesme taşan evler yapmışlardır.
