Good hotel but they are revamping the place so early morning wake up call haha but good place

Orange少數幾家賓館，衹能説是賓館。設施一般，目的就是睡一覺，很多房型是公共衞生間，3人間，2人間為主，房門難開，水池下水堵塞，衹是睡一覺。

Someone cut there arm on something in the bathroom. I asked for access to a first aid kit for them. But was told we don't have a first aid kit. Very unusual these days as I'm sure businesses should have them these days. How rude and unapologetic.

DELICIOUS!!! We hadn’t been for a number of years and wow what a lovely surprise. The waitress who took our order was very friendly and helpful with our menu change request, even the chef said it was not a problem. Well i have to say the food was so tasty … great value also. I will be dreaming about my delicious caesar salad till the next time we come and as this will be our new local we will bring our friends!!! Great job for the beautiful kind service and outstanding food !!!

I booked through *********** and my confirmation said 'breakfast included' but it wasn't. This is apparently some miscommunication between *********** and the hotel. There was nothing wrong with the room itself, the beds were clean and comfortable. The shared bathrooms didn't smell great. You can poke holes in anything and it's easy to find problems but then this place was 20 to 30 dollars cheaper than most places we stayed during our road trip. I do sort of have a soft spot for places like this because when I was young these were the only places I could afford and therefore the only reason I could travel. So... not that regal but at least a roof over your head.

I visited Orange for the Medieval Festival and because the town seemed so popular, there wasn't much accommodation at a reasonable price available. I paid $75 for a single room with shower but shared toilet. The room was compact and had AC which worked, tv (remote or tv not working), shower that leaked. The downlight above the light did not work. As it is on top of a pub, the music could be heard in the background til 2am and although on the main highway, I only heard one semi-trailer at night. The Royal Hotel is centrally located with two shopping malls nearby and two other pubs within a 5 minute walk. The location can't be beat. The duvet and mattress were very comfortable and whoever was the buyer should be commended for that. Wifi is free and worked sufficiently enough for Facebook. Overall - if you set your expectations low - it is actually alright but if i paid my standard $130 for a night I would have felt cheesed off..If the Royal Hotel put some effort in doing up the place, it would get a higher rating and the ability to charge more. I suggest an ensuite in each room.
