발라마 아미코르 그린 리조트(Valamar Amicor Green Resort)

A lovely, relaxing resort - designed for younger kids, but my older teenagers used the neighbouring hotel. Lovely experience! The buffet was delicious and the staff couldn't be more helpful. Easy walking distance to the town. Totally recommend it!

Stayed here August 2023, 2 adults and two kids ( 11 and 13) and was a brilliant holiday. Stayed in a family suite with terrace, hardly used the terrace as so hot outside but inside was perfect with good air con, a microwave, coffee machine, kettle and a small fridge. The resort is very well laid out and really well geared up for younger children but even at 11 and 13 ours still had lots to do and had huge fun in the swimming pool and slides, on the pool tables, table football and table tennis. There are also impressive gaming facilities in the kids club that older kids can use with up to date games and consoles. Also outdoor cinema every evening for kids and there is playground equipment dotted around the whole resort. You can also use the facilities in the hotel next door (Places) and there a couple of pebble beaches and lots of places to swim. Next to the resort are inflatables in the sea which are really fun, 10euros for an hour. The half board meals were excellent, lots of choice and never too crowded. Drinks are extra, a glass of wine approx 9 euros. At lunch the a la carte restaurant has lots of choice and pizza (about 12-15 euros) etc can be served by the pool. The resort has good sports facilities, Beach volleyball, tennis and football as well as fitness classes. Outside of the resort, Stari Grad is a quaint and beautiful town and there is an hourly boat shuttle there for 2 euros each (or 20min walk). Has an reasonable supermarket for extra drinks etc. and lots of cafes and restaurants. Not nearly as touristy or commercial as Hvar town. All in all, a fantastic family holiday!

Everything was perfect from the get go. The villas are extremly comfortable spaceous,clean and beautifull. The staff is welcoming and very friendly.Kids had a blast at the pool on the slides,and getting creative with the team in Maro club. Face painting,movie watching nights on open air and so much more! If you are looking for a family oriented place that will be kind but fun for your kids,give them a try! Im sure you wont be dissapointed.

A really good resort. Good accommodation, food, staff, and overall service. Access to adjacent Places Resort which is really nice. Hire a bike (€15 for a day) and explore the island. Easy access to the beach/sea. Close to Stari Grad. Strongly recommend.

I love going to Valamar hotels. Always great, usually exceeding expectations. This new hotel is nice with certain advantages, but there are some unacceptable flaws. We are generally happy with our stay, as it was very family and child friendly. Our children were very satisfied, but from the adult perspective we have had some major concerns. Coming to Valamar I always expect something great, especially since the price in high season was very high. Pros: - very nice villas with well equipped terraces (especially the ones with seaview) - nice location - friendly staff - very good Maro Kids Club - very good swimming pool and slides for kids - 3 sport grounds (free access) Cons: - very low quality housekeeping; the villa was clean when we arrived, but during our 7 day stay it was hardly ever cleaned; the terrace wasn't even swiped or mopped; I am not sure if the shower was cleaned even once; coffee capsules refilled only from time to time; sometimes after we returned to the villa we were not even sure if any housekeeping was done. In our previous Valamar stays the rooms were alway cleaned spotless every day. - food; dinner buffet was generally ok but a little boring; the breakfasts were very disappointing. The hotel advertised their food as local and homegrown, but in reality it was a very medium quality continental breakfast. The only fresh vegetable during breakfast were tomatoes, everything else was grilled or pickled. No choice of regional cheeses or ham, very limited choices. The only upside - the possibility to make your own freshly squeezed juice. - the hotel in general does not have any fence; people were walking by our house even though there was no walking path at this location; some villas were located basically at the promenade - despite what the website suggests, the hotel does not have its proprietary beach, You can use beaches at the nearby Valamar Places hotel - expensive drinks and food at the restaurant

We had shorty but sweet stay at Amicor Green Resort. Pool area is great with baby pool, small slides, big slides, swiming area, lots of fun for whole familiy. Kids enjoyed swiming in the pool, and we enjoyed relaxing on the sunbeds. Also the staff was very helpful and pleasant, specially miss Ivana at the reception. For sure, we are comming again next year.

We had a wonderful 5 days at the Amicor resort. In addition to high expectations, they were exceeded by the location, offer, facilities and very friendly and professional employees who are obviously very well managed. the villa we were staying in was more than ideal for our vacation, with a wonderful terrace where we enjoyed spending our time. The housekeeping did an excellent job and they were very precise in carrying out the daily tasks, that they seemed imperceptible to us and in the end everything was very perfectly cleaned and replenished on a daily basis (coffee, tea, water, etc.). Supervisor Slavica was always around to help. We had an 'elephant' made of towels, which was our child's best friend during the stay :) . Thanks for the idea. Restaurant Oliva during breakfast is wonderful, with an excellent selection of food for both children and adults. During dinner, a somewhat more specific offer and certainly varied for us and our child. We would emphasize the friendliness of the waiters who made every meal we had. Well done and thank you to Stipe, Ante, Bernard and all the other employees of Oliva restaurant. During the day, the pool was excellent for relaxing (in the shade under the pine trees, under the umbrella, in the gazebo). The cocktails at the bar were really excellent with the great kindness of all the staff. Well done to the Argentinians who enrich the bar with knowledge (coffee art, bartending) and certainly kindness. The offer of sports activities is also great, so I would like to praise Karmen who gave us all the necessary information. Thank you! Let's not forget to mention the unsurpassed MAro world, which left an unforgettable memory for our daughter. Maro free play, Maro disco, Maro cinema, etc. The day was too short to cover the entire schedule that the hotel offers for children. A big thank you to all the employees at Maro world who were all wonderful to our child and may they continue to do so. About C/I and C/O, only words of praise for the kindness and speed of all employees. The reception manager as well as the other employees are very professional, and Sven who welcomed us was wonderful and I thank him for all the information he very kindly gave us upon arrival. We had absolutely wonderful stay, from the moment we arrived, very warm and hospitality . The staff is the best special shout-out to waiter Domagoj his Attentiveness , Knowledge, and friendly. I can’t wait to return again.!!!:))))))))))

This was our 3rd time coming to Croatia and first time at Hvar. The resort is verybeautiful, we were amazed. The town itself is very nice, with a romantic note to it. From the moment we arrived, they greeted us with hospitality. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our stay was to our needs. Food was fabulous, and we love that about Croatia. the staff was very polite and professional. Our waiter for the stay, Domagoj, was amazing, always ready to recommend to us something special, truly amazing. We are deffinetly coming back next year :))).
