에토샤 트레이딩 포스트(Etosha Trading Post)

Great Campsite just outside of Etosha National Park with great amenities (private bathroom, kitchen, pool, etc) and very friendly staff. The campsite's shop has all things needed and a gas station to fuel up before entering Etosha is on site as well. Definitely recommended!

It's a great stop over place before or after visiting Etosha park. We stayed there with our 4x4, every spot has its own toilet and shower, grill, a shade and electric post. It had everything we needed, there is an oil station in the camp and also the shop is worth checking for souvenirs. The swimming pool was the best among all the other places we visited in Namibia. Definitely recommend

After the disappointment we experienced in the government owned Etosha National Park, the trading post campsite was a delight. People were friendly and place was clean. After a long dusty day in Etosha, we could relax in the pool and order burgers from the deli. And boy, was I impressed with the burger, the best I had in a very long time. On the downside, coming from Etosha, the signs were a bit confusing and did not quite correlate with the name on Google maps. The directions took us to the correct place, but we could not comfortably identify the place on a name board.

We stayed at Etosha Trading Camps for 3 days. The place is very well located, only a few kilometres away from the Etosha South Gate. Other positive point is that the whole camp was very clean, including ablutions. Beside that, the shop to get food was very poorly stocked (closest other option to buy fresh products like meat or veggies is 80km away…). They have frozen meat though. Also, quite nosy since the camp it located by the main road.

Very nice camp site and very good service. The fire place is just a barrel - therefore only 4 stars. Warm water all the day, very good store available. Would be nice, if you would offer a restaurant service!

Very well organised, good shop, friendly staff! Gives you an early morning entry to the park! Camping sites well fitted out, rustic design, toilets and shower very nice and lots of hot water. Kids loved the borehole fed swimming pool!

The campsite is in a top location, just 6 kilometers from Etosha Park. The furnishings are of very high quality and everything is very well maintained and clean. The pool is sensationally large and also very clean. The associated shop has everything you need. Gas station is also available. unreservedly recommended.

If you're looking for a place to camp just outside Etosha National Park then look no further than Etosha Trading Post. The campsites are spacious and private, each with its own rustic, yet comfortable unit that includes private ablutions, a "braai" (BBQ), and a kitchenette area. The only thing you don't have is a fridge, but if you don't have your own, the curio shop mostly has everything you need. Each campsite feels like you're camping in the bush and with most of the sites facing outwards towards the waterhole (where we saw some small antelope species) you get nice views as well as some sense of privacy. It is good to note that all sites are suitable for tents, bush-wagons and caravans alike. As mentioned earlier, the trading post has a large, modern curio shop that conveniently supplies most of your camping needs, ranging from day-to-day essentials to frozen meat, "braai" wood, ice-cold beers and gifts to take home. They also have free Wi-Fi at the curio shop, which is always a bonus. The staff were friendly throughout our stay and they have a nice pool and fuel station on premises, making your stay even more comfortable. We had a great time staying at Etosha Trading Post, and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to camp just outside Etosha National Park. With it's close proximity to the Andersson Gate and Okaukuejo Resort it makes it a perfect base camp to explore the Park from. I will definitely stay here in the future again.

It's really good option if travel with the car and not interested to stay inside Etosha National Park. Etosha Trading Post located 6km away from the Gate. But there also some camps inside in the Park, what gives you possibility to stay bit longer in the park (until end of sunset). Others need to leave by 7PM.
