The hotel is fantastic, been coming for approximately 14 years, the only problem now is the music blaring out from the surrounding bars, that is if you can call it music, just constant thudding

This is our second time back to Oceanus. We came last year and knew we wanted to return. The friendliness of all the staff is 10/10, from the greeting when we arrived to the day we left. The staff really make this place special. The apartment has everything you need to make food etc. It's in a very peaceful location,surrounded by lots of lovely restaurants and not a very long walk down to the beach (which is lovely).

The staff at this hotel went above and beyond for myself and my partner throughout our stay. I broke my knee three nights into our stay and the hotel were so kind and genuinely caring, providing me with a wheelchair and ensuring they were checking in with me as much as possible. Whether this be the reception staff, snack or bar staff every person working at the hotel had a heart of gold. Given the circumstances I wasn’t allowed to fly home when planned, the hotel accommodated us and extended our stay, moving us to a room that was more accessible for me. The reception staff also ensured that we had a transfer to the airport and made sure that it was due to show up when needed, phoning the company ahead to request a larger vehicle so that I had room to rest my leg. I would recommend this hotel to everyone who plans a trip to Portugal, the hospitality of the staff was unmatched to any hotel I have stayed in. The staff had so much genuine love for their guests, and went out of their way to check in with people. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, they had all amenities that were needed, they were spacious and modern. Towels and bedding were changed daily and the room was cleaned too. I do not think I could raise a single issue with this holiday. Food was lovely and very fairy priced, drinks too were very nice. Despite a broken knee I still enjoyed my stay, due to how accommodating everyone here was. Thank you again ❤️

Returned again! Very nice Aparthotel, short walk to the beach, super friendly and helpful staff. Basic apartment but clean and comfortable with all equipment you could need apart from an oven! Cleaned daily and fresh towels whenever needed. Surrounded by good restaurants , snack bar on site , bar open every night. Love this place and already booked to come back later in the year!

Well this is the sixth time we have stopped at The Oceanus. This is the reason why. The staff are amazing they remember you, they are so friendly from the reception to the cleaners to the snack bar and bar down stairs. You can not fault how clean the place is the cleaning staff came in every day to clean our room towels changed every day sheets every other day bins emptied and mopped through, we had a sand storm while we were there the staff came in to clean down the balcony and glass straight away. Our room yes it is basic but that's all you need kitchen equipment is all there we managed to cook in our room 3 times having fresh fish from the fish market for one meal very nice indeed. We had a balcony from the lounge over looking the main street and also a terrace from the bedroom with 3 sunbeds table and chairs huge terrace. Shower is powerful enough. Two people that make The Oceanus is Lillard and Felipe wonderful people soon as they saw us a huge welcome so lovely and friendly. We will be back its a brilliant location and a friendly Aparthotel. Was a little nervous after booking a bargain break and seeing mixed reviews but overall was a wonderful stay. Housekeeping were fantastic and room was spotless and they visited with fresh towels and to make the beds, mop the floors and empty bins daily. Reception staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Snack bar and bar staff were fantastic. Beds were very comfy and location was great for beach and shops. We were out in a room facing the road which in the day was very entertaining but at night it was noisy. Wouldn’t have been a problem but as it was April the air con was set to heating and we couldn’t then open windows to cool room down (they have no fans for hire which seemed wrong!). We visited albufeira and vilamoura by Uber and was cheaper than using taxis apposite hotel. Zoomarine and Algarve shopping centre were great day trips. Hotel has entertainment only on Monday and Thursday evening and happy hour daily 6.30-7.30. We loved the relaxed feel about the hotel. If you get noisy neighbours it isn’t fun as we found out towards the end of our holiday as walls are thin but that’s not the hotels fault. Would we stay again, 100%.

Fabulous little place !! Everything was brilliant from start to finish, just got back today and feel it’s important to recognise the staff and how friendly they all… and they do a fantastic job. Rooms were spacious and kept immaculate but the maids. Karaoke on Mondays are a giggle and there is great snack bar on site with good food … great location but a-bit of steep hill to climb to get back from the beach front so if you have mobility issues might be a struggle. Outdoor pool was freezing due to time of year but there is a lovely indoor pool to keep the kids entertained… we will definitely return

Stayed at Oceanus for a week of self-catering. Our little studio flat in the 2nd building on the first floor was perfect for the 2 of us. Powerful shower, firm beds, sunny balcony, kitchen with all we needed. Rooms cleaned every day and we had no issues with any of the amenities and found the area to be quiet. The hotel is a 6 min walk from the beach and there are several bars and restaurants and 2 supermarkets close by. The hotel staff are friendly, especially Illiad Snack bar/ bar man. Drinks and food are reasonably priced. We used the indoor pool several times whilst we were there too, and the changing rooms were spotless. You have to wear swim caps to go in the pool, but they are for sale for €3 at reception. The karaoke on Mon night was well attended and great fun. We were sad to leave but will definitely be back again soon!

We’ve just stayed here for a family holiday and it was amazing. I don’t usually write reviews but felt compelled to write about Oceanus. I really can’t praise here enough. Amazing apartment, pool, food, spa and more importantly, staff. Every member of staff at the reception, bar, spa and snack back were so lovely and extremely friendly. We were so sad to leave and have already booked to go again next year. Thank you/ Diolch/ Obrigada, Oceanus!
