Aquamar Albufeira Aparthotel

Arrived here was given a warm welcome by staff and shown to room 204, superior room with pool view. Had read good reviews, but usually photo's make place look better! Need'nt have worried, huge apartment and never had one with such a well equipt kithen! Every single member of staff was so friendly, which made stay even better🙂. Paula and Jose on reception were so welcoming and nice, any information was always given. Short walk to beach and bars, huge supermarket 10 minutes, taxi rank in public car park and bus stop just across road. If you are looking for peace and quiet, you cannot go wrong at this establishment. Also on day before left, jose suprised us with a complimentry bottle of wine.

We had a fab time at Aqua-Mar. We had booked a superior pool view room which was great. It was very well equipped, it had 2 balconies - one for sitting out and the other small one had a drying rack. Air conditioning was very good. We travelled with hand luggage only and we could hire pool towels for €1 each which was very useful. The location is perfect - it's around a 5-10 minute walk to the nearest beach and there are plenty eating places nearby (we recommend Chefs Peking just across the road). The staff at reception are so friendly (José and Paula), nothing is too much trouble and they are happy to take time to chat. Because there are only 28 rooms it feels very personal. There are plenty beautiful beaches nearby but some are quite tricky to get to - José and Paula can give you some pointers though. We only sat by the pool on one day but there are plenty loungers and umbrellas if required. We have previously visited Albufeira which we really enjoyed but we prefer Olhos de Água as it's a bit quieter. We are already planning to go again next year and will be returning to Aqua-Mar. Highly recommended.

Myself and my son are currently staying at these amazing apartments and we will be sad to leave on Thursday as it’s been such a great holiday. The apartments are very big and spotlessly clean, we had a pool view ground floor and the sun hit our balcony in the afternoon which was great (room 108). The staff from reception to the bar staff have been so so helpful and always so happy. I can’t recommend this hotel enough. I would definitely come back and I can’t remember the last time I thought that from a holiday abroad.

We were greeted by the lovely Paula on arrival, and told to treat our apartment like a home from home, and to ask if there was anything we needed, we felt we were really valued as guests. The apartment was spacious and spotlessly clean, and everything we wanted. We booked a pool view superior apartment, and the view over the pool area from our balcony was very pleasant. The village is well stocked with bars and restaurants, and we found Manuel’s restaurant which is very near to the apartments, very good. I would just also like to mention Jose on reception, he was very informative about the area, and always made a point of coming out of his office to chat to us. All in all, a very good holiday.

What a great value for money hotel run by great managers with there staff snack bar lady down to cleaners who come every day great pool area rooms superior pool view worth every penny aircon second to none snack bar prices very cheap and the manager became a friend lovely young man I will definitely be back 100%

Brilliant apartment in the centre of Olhos De Aqua. Very clean and well equipped with very friendly staff. Had a minor medical issue while we were there and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Thoroughly recommend to anyone who wants a small, friendly hotel with easy access to all the bars and restaurants Olhos has to offer. We had a wonderful 18 night stay and will definitely be booking again

We spent a lovely relaxing week at Aquamar. So glad we chose these apartments. It’s a small complex which suits us but has everything you need and in a great location. Friendly, helpful staff and the apartments are spacious and so clean. Our apartment was on the pool area so didn’t have a big balcony but faced out to the street and was fine for us. Pool area was really nice and the snack bar open from 9 to 5.30. Would definitely return and recommend.

A little gem of aparthotel thank you for a wonderful stay especially to all the staff very friendly and welcoming Jose & Maria were amazing! From a Newcastle fan to a Porto fan Jose ill be back see you soon I could not fault aquamarine from food to how clean and immaculate this aparthotel was thanks for a wonderful stay in olhos de aqua

Really good standard of apartment. Everything available for what you need. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Location is ideal for all the surrounding bars and restaurants. Falesia beach is just a stroll away, be prepared for the steps. We will return again
