I would highly recommend Pensao Bicuar. I had booked another AL close by, my booking had been accepted, paid for and confirmed by them, but on arrival there was nobody present and several phone calls and email were ignored. I had to find an alternative place to stay on a busy Saturday night and Pensao Bicuar came to my rescue. Pensao Bicuar proved to be far more welcoming, professional and efficient. Raquel runs a great place. Yes it's traditional and simple but not pretending to be anything more. Very clean, great value and amazing roof terrace.

As a seasoned traveler, I've stayed at countless hotels over the years. However, it's not every day that I come across a place that leaves such a lasting familiar and welcoming impression on me. Pension Bicuar, nestled in the heart of the picturesque town, has managed to do just that. The beautiful property, with its pristine rooms and unparalleled hospitality, has made our stay nothing short of a dream. From the moment we arrived, Raquel, welcomed us with kindly. Her warmth and friendliness instantly made us feel at home. Not only did she provide us with essential ferry timings, but she also gifted us to a nice Portuguese wine - a true testament to her thoughtfulness. Moreover, she went the extra mile by guiding us to a much closer and nicer supermarket than Lidl, which we had been walked quite far to. Her suggestions were spot-on and made our daily errands a breeze. Harma, another lovely team member, never failed to greet us with a bright smile each morning and send us off with warm wishes for the day. Her dedication to making our stay a pleasant one was evident. When we were unsure about the directions to the ferries and boats, Harma stepped in and graciously showed us the correct way, saving us from heading in the opposite direction. Pension Bicuar's meticulous attention to detail is reflected in their impeccably clean and well-stocked rooms. The staff's incredible local knowledge and genuine care for their guests' needs made our stay an unforgettable experience. When we realized we had forgotten our beach towels, the team at Pension Bicuar graciously lent us some, turning what could have been an inconvenience into a non-issue. The hotel's prime location puts everything you need within easy reach. Our third-floor room offered a lovely vantage point from which to enjoy the surroundings. As we approach our eighth and final night here, I can't help but feel a pang of sadness at the thought of leaving this delightful haven. In conclusion, our stay at Pension Bicuar has been nothing short of extraordinary. The exceptional hospitality, pristine accommodations, and convenient location have made this trip an absolute pleasure. I cannot recommend Pension Bicuar highly enough, and I eagerly look forward to returning next year. Thank you, Raquel, Harma, and the entire team for making our stay so memorable! Great hotel and customer service. Option to leave luggage which was handy. Place was very close and great location, close to marina, bars, restaurants and shops. 3 min walk to the local supermarket. Kitchen was handy and kept very clean. Terrace was great, great for catching the sun and a lovely view.

Ich habe hier zwei Wochen wie unter Freunden gewohnt und es sehr genossen. Die Nähe zu allem ist wunderbar. Eine sehr authentische Atmosphäre mit dem herrlichen Dachgarten, den ich zum malen benutzen konnte. Alles ist sehr sauber, Raquel ist eine hilfreiche, offene Gastgeberin, sie kümmert sich um alles und sollte wirklich eine Gehalts🎄erhöhung bekommen. Vielen Dank auch an Rama für den tollen Service. Wünsche mir für nächstes Mal, dass auch deutsche 🖥Programme auf dem TV installiert werden, das sollte kein Problem sein. Bis bald, Ihr Lieben und bleibt alle gesund ♥️

Wir sind bereits zum zweiten Mal Gäste gewesen und kommen sicher wieder! Diese zauberhafte Pension besticht vor allem durch die herzliche und offene Atmosphäre, die sauberen und liebevoll eingerichteten Zimmer und nicht zuletzt die tolle Dachterrasse! Die Warmherzigkeit des Personals und der Eigentümer überträgt sich auf das ganze Haus und so ist es leicht - auch als Alleinreisender - zu connecten. Rundum tolle Gastgeber!
