81 Palms Resort

We loved Rote and probably half of the reason why is because we chose to stay at 81 Palms. I don’t know where to start, but I know how to end when I say that those people I met there, are now family. The place is stunning. The position is great. Right in front of Tland surf spot, but also right in front of a desert islands that you can reach by their boat. The food was spectacular, prepared by Kote and Victor, 1star Michelin chefs: The mahi sashimi, the fish cannelloni, the gazpacho or the awesome burger…a whole experience. Outside the kitchen there’s Julia. We arranged everything with her, one of those people with a contagious smile and such a beautiful aura, always eager to help to make us discover and fall in love with her island.

We have stayed at 81. Palms with our 5 years old daughter for 4 days. We liked everything about this place: bungalow, restaurant (amazing Spanish cousin!) and hospitality of the Julia & Jose. We weren't charged for our's daughter meals and fruits as well as for additional cappuccinos :) what was really a nice gesture.

Salve a tutti... Le recensioni si sa, vanno fatte al piu' presto altrimenti ci scordiamo nomi, dettagli, e anche un po' di sensazioni. Abbiamo avuto la fortuna di soggiornare in questo luogo meraviglioso dal 22 al 26 dello scorso Agosto. Avevamo il bungalow numero 4, nel vicino, ma sempre della stessa proprieta' 81 Palms Next Door. Entrambre le soluzioni sono magnifiche, il corpo principale e' di costruzione piu' recente ma le attigue quattro camere sono di recente ristrutturazione, di minor metratura ma anch' esse perfette. Abbiamo fatto la gradita conoscenza dei due titolari, Pepe e Giulia, e di buona parte del loro meraviglioso personale. E' sempre un piacere addormentarsi con il suono del mare e risvegliarsi con il cingettio degli innumerevoli uccellini che di buon mattino transitavano sul tetto del nostro bungalow. Colazione nel corpo principale ammirando un bellissimo mare e poi via con lo scooter per scoprire ogni giorno nuove scorci di questa meravigliosa isola. So che ritorneremo, spero gia' il prossimo anno, ma per il momento vi salutiamo con un grande abbraccio e un bel Forza Viola e.... Alessio e Michela, Firenze.
