The good: The proximity to town was what brought us to this hotel. Plus the hotel had undergone a "renovation" from the previous ownership and we saw some good reviews from that renovation. The person at the desk was nice enough. We didn't eat the breakfast so I can't comment on that, but there is one. The parking was plentiful. The water was hot and the towels clean. The not so good: the room wasn't the cleanest and the renovations must have been done by blind people. The walls and room in general showed previous water damage and the whole thing just seemed rundown looking with a fresh coat of drippy paint. The bed seemed new but was hard. The plug in on my side of the bed wasn't connected to anything. The plug in on the other side of the bed made my wife's cell phone sound like it was brewing tea. 😮 The trains and traffic were loud (earplugs needed). It was tricky getting to the place, you need to pay attention to the turns and will probably end up going under the overpass several times. I asked myself a couple of times if I would stay here again and I'm not sure, probably not.

If you’re looking for a clean comfortable place to stay near downtown Ocean springs then this is the place. It’s recently been remodeled and the price is great. It’s not a fancy five star hotel but it’s a safe and clean place with a friendly staff. It’s also close to the ******s and attractions in Biloxi.

This older property was recently remodeled and looks very fresh. The furniture is modern and attractive, and the mattress and pillows are new and comfortable. The bedspread, sheets and towels are quite thin, and no extra blanket was available. The breakfast was pleasant.

The beds were dirty keep finding other people hairs in bed an had bits on us from some kind of bugs an was costly itchy while laying in bed we ended up packing up an leaving an just driving back home that night at 1:30 in morning

They are remodeling BUT the room we were in was not and smelled bad. We complained but they didn’t move us. Also we were in a non-smoking room but the sheets had cigarette burns in them. Those were a bit scratchy on the back as we slept

They were I the process of remodeling the property. One light bulb was out. The sheets and blankets were filthy. The smoke detector was ripped off of the ceiling.

I was on the road a week, and the travel lodge had the absolute hottest water of any place I stayed

Did not like the fact that I had no room service or change of towels in a one week stay. Everything else was good and I would stay here again in the future..

Items were left/found in all the drawers, the freezer section in my fridge is dirty and brown, and there was no cold water in the sink and shower
