Our 2 king bed room on the fourth floor was immaculate. The beds were very comfortable, the room was large, simply and adequately furnished with a comfortable side chair, desk and desk chair, big screen TV, lots of drawer storage and very nice balcony overlooking the pickle ball courts. Our housekeeper, Alice, did a wonderful job making sure our room was spotless. The Sea Bay Cafe associated with the hotel was delightful and the restaurant manager, Miguel was outstanding.

It was great to be able to close off our room from the kids for privacy, but there is only 1 thermostat and I pretty much froze out my kids because I like to sleep cold. Positives: Room comfort, cleanliness, able to close off to separate rooms, full kitchen, large balcony, location, elevators numerous and working fast, double sinks in the bathroom Negatives: Single thermostat doesn't allow for different sleeping temperatures in a room that can be closed off into 2 different areas, closing the kids pool so early in the day on hot August days makes no sense (I am sure it is a lifeguard issue) and the other pool is not available late either and doesn't have the hot tub (over at the kiddie pool instead), the adult meals that are part of the meal package are stupid small and limited items, high jacuzzi tub threshold makes it difficult for seniors to get into the shower. I don't need a handicap accessible room, but it was hard getting in and out of the shower. Wifi can't handle the load during peak hours

This was a great hotel to stay at for a week while our daughter’s softball team played in a tournament. The room was spacious and comfortable. The pool is outside right on the water. The fitness center is up on the 7th floor so you work out while looking out over the water. But mostly I want to compliment the staff. Everyone I talked to was nice and helpful. And then after I checked out and was on my way to the airport I realized that I had left several items in my room including my wedding ring. I messaged the hotel in the chat function on the app and explained the situation. They could not have been nicer. They went right away to the room and found the items and held them at the desk until a friend could pick them up. Thank you to the wonderful staff!

This was a great vacation as always. Been staying here for years, great staff, great pools, great food. Cannot say enough about this place to describe how amazing it is. Definitely the tallest building in this neighborhood. Come. Stay. Experience.

When you book a hotel room in Ocean City between Memorial Day and Labor Day, you can count on two things: Astronomical rates and a guest experience below what you’d expect elsewhere for those prices. The Doubletree has both. But if you accept the reality that this is the new normal for all OC hotels during the busy season, you could certainly do worse than the Doubletree. The good: The rooms and common areas are clean and generally well-maintained. This isn’t an easy accomplishment with the combination of sand, salt air, and a seasonal housekeeping staff. The beachfront location is hard to beat. There are also nice pools with plenty of chairs as well as a spacious picnic area. The staff is friendly and helpful. Unlike a lot of the newer hotels, the walls are not paper-thin and there are no connecting rooms. It’s not loud. Needs Improvement: The room’s thermostats are locked at 68 degrees and the AC units are very loud, turning off and on throughout the night. With the high humidity of ocean air, the system is not up to the job. (For us, this was the one dealbreaker that would keep us from returning. Your tolerance for it may be higher). Housekeeping is hit or miss: One of our days they came, one day they just forgot. Service at the restaurant is slow and inattentive. Some of the electrical outlets in our room did not work. The property looks dated, and several minor things need maintenance. Bottom Line: If you want to pay dearly for a beachfront hotel in peak season, the Doubletree is a decent choice. It’s family-friendly, clean, and the location is hard to beat. Don’t expect the experience you’d get at an urban Hilton for the same premium rates, and you won’t be disappointed.

I love the Hilton Garden Inn at the Virginia Beach Ocean Front. All the staff is so nice and very friendly. Ronnie the valet is super nice. He always has a smile on his face and is super-fast at getting your car. The only problem I had for the last couple of years is that the vents in the rooms are not cleaned. I mean never. They are filthy. I would get another hotel, but I would not have the view like at the Hilton. Every morning, we watch the sun rise and also see the dolphins swim by. If I had a side view of the ocean, I would be very upset. I hope this year the housekeeping staff cleans those vents, in the bathroom also. I hope when I return in the summer of 2025 I don't have to take my dust rag and charge the Hilton for cleaning the room.

Great location, right on boardwalk and beach! Friendly staff, clean room and bathroom. Great view from balcony. Restaurant, donut shop and ice cream shop on site. Walking distance to shops, other restaurants and amusement area. Free bikes, free coffee in the morning,free beach chairs. Small fee for umbrella. Indoor and outdoor pools. This place has it all!

좋은 미드 타운 위치. 구내 레스토랑은 매우 편리했습니다. 우리는 겨울에 머물렀고 실내 수영장과 게임 룸을 사용했습니다. 우리가 만난 모든 직원은 매우 친절했고 아이들에게 핫 초콜릿을 주었습니다. 나는 달콤하다고 생각했습니다. 복도에 보이는 오래된 호텔이지만 객실 내부는 약간의 업데이트가 있었고 전반적으로 매우 깨끗해 보입니다. 주방에는 필요한 모든 것이 있었습니다! 가격대비 완벽했습니다! 절대적으로 다시 머물 것입니다!
