No.26 by the Sea

A beautiful costal walk to the 26 by the sea, excellent view from the front terrace overlooking the sea , plenty to look at and a beautiful sunset. Hotel was spotless, comfortable bed, room had own sun terrace, friendly helpful staff, amazing breakfast, and a bonus of fresh orange and pastries to wake up to outside your room door. Breakfast choice was amazing as so was the food.

We stayed in the Beach House at No.26 By the Sea, and it was absolutely wonderful—both cozy and unexpectedly luxurious. Tucked just beside the main hotel, the Beach House offers more privacy while still giving you access to everything that makes No.26 so special. The space is split over two floors: downstairs is a beautifully decorated living area with a comfy sofa, an inviting electric fireplace, and a full kitchen that made us feel right at home. The attention to detail in the decor creates a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Our private patio overlooked the water—a perfect spot for morning coffee or evening drinks. Upstairs, the bedroom was spacious and peaceful, with a second bathroom that made the entire setup feel like a private retreat. We enjoyed breakfast at the main hotel each morning, and the honor bar was a fantastic touch—fully stocked with local gin and Scotch, making it easy to unwind in the evenings. If you’re looking for a stylish, relaxing, and private place to stay in Oban with the added charm of hotel amenities, we can’t recommend the Beach House at No.26 enough.

The perfect B&B. Just spent 2 nights at No. 26 and found evety aspect of our stay to be perfect. Great room, good size, with loads of charm, I'mpeccably clean. Fabulous, attentive staff. Excellent, top of the line breakfast. Waterfront in beautiful Oban. This is the best accommodation in the market!! Can't recommend it highly enough.
